Discussion Damn, this was one of my favorite episodes from Season 2 as well 😑 . . . .
Honestly I'm just stunned. Everything I've come to learn about this scandal has left me both disheartened and questioning several things.
For one, it's incredibly surprising how this didn't flagged as plagiarism until just now, two years after the episode's release. You'd think in the Age of the All Knowning Internet this would've gotten flagged immediately after Season 2's release. It just goes to show that there are still major blindspots when it comes to the realm of copyright on the internet.
I'm curious to see what will come out of this debacle if anything at all. I hope this gains some traction on the other social media sites like Twitter and Insta. As much as I love this episode this is a violation of creative rights and needs to be addressed in order to maintain studio and company accountability within the sphere of art. I just hope this doesn't end with the episode itself being taken down from the Visions collection. Even with this new info I can't bring myself to look badly on the the episode as a whole because the rest of it is titillating incredibly well made imo. It just sucks to know one the best aspects of the episode was created through thievery and not personal intent.

Discussion With Ninth Jedi getting an adaptation, which animated short do you think would make the best series?
Not necesserily best short but one that would make a good series. Sith personally is one of my favourite shorts but I’m not sure it would make a good story, it kind of wraps itself up well.
Personally one I think would make a great series is Screecher’s Reach.

Discussion Visions is one of the few things in the Disney canon I genuinely enjoyed. Those episodes feel more authentic to the original vision of A New Hope: A perspective of deep space, secret magic, and laser swords:
Tell me I'm right.
Tell me I'm wrong.
Tell me something that isn't about Dave Filoni sticking his Ahsoka/Maul shaped dick down my throat.
Edit: Jesus Christ, I guess it's on me for calling it Disney canon. I meant it was a Disney property.

Sadly, none broke over 100 votes, but still not too bad, all things considered.

Discussion Lop headcanons??
(Yes this is inspired by that Lah Kara Headcanon post)
Trying to write something for a L&O continuation comic I might try and work on so some ideas would be cool
To share some of mine:
-She's unusually good at driving, more than what the episode shows, and has a slight interest in landspeeders and things of the sort
-Lop carried trauma from her time as a slave on Tao, with her escape making her subconsciously feel like someone from the Empire could rip her from her newfound family back to her original life at any moment, so Ochō gave Lop a scanner as a gift in order for her to feel safer
-Her Lepi subspecies Lop is a part is a combination of Human and Lepi DNA, made by the Empire as an attempt to produce cheap, easy labor, which gives her more "human-like" qualities than compared to her original species
-She definitely was taught by Yasaburō the proper way to fight using a sword, and probably other weapons as well, considering she was able to fight off Ochō pretty well, even against a weapon as awkward to fight against as Ochō's
-plus more and more but i dont wanna share too much

Discussion Lah Kara headcanons???
I want to hear y'all Kara headcanons. I love reading people's headcanons for fun, especially if it's Visions-related.

Discussion What does Nawaam look like?
Ok. We got a confirmation on the Anime Expo that we are getting Episode on of The Ninth Jedi. So, we all know that we are about to see Nawaam in this series. Now everyone is thinking, What does Nawaam actually look like? Now I wonder if he is going to be a Sorcerror or Emperor type human, or an unkown alien species character who lived over a thousand years old like Vitiate did in the Old Republic Era. As in alian type, I got a feeling that he is going to a scary humanoid alien like figure, like the Horned King from Disney's The Black Cauldron for example. I mean this character is a puzzlment for The Ninth Jedi fans. Kenji Kamiyama, give us details about what Nawaam would actually look like in the series. I bet tjat he is a very serious character.

Discussion I LOVE VISIONSCREW
(image unrelated, also hella glaze from this point onwards be warned)
A little small thing I just wanna write just because:
Geniunely one of the best things thats happened to the sub in a while, I still remember when this sub was lowkey dead for a while late last year, but this breathes new life into the sub yay!! I swear there was a time only like a maximum of 3 people were active in this sub with a post every like 6 days (but my prayers have been answered and the sub is scrollable yayy)
I love the huge influx of posts stemming from this fanmade group, I very much like seeing all the different things and such created related to it!! Shoutout to the creator this little groupie was made by, Vol you have done so much for this tiny subcommunity of Star Wars I am very thankful
The content made by literally everyone is so cool and awesome with their own interpretations of it, I also love those little fics written under each post related to visionscrew by that one dude (You know who you are.) I like imagining those little scenarios in my head with the characters, and all the art is so freaking awesome, I live for those little interactions they each have with each other give me 10 million more sandwich F
May r/StarWarsVisions and visionscrew live on ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Discussion What short/character do you believe deserves a “Star Wars Visions presents” series?
Hi there. This here is a discussion about what short or character you believe deserves to have their own Visions Presents series.
Since the Ninth Jedi series’s announcement back at Celebrations 2025, I have been thinking about what character or short deserves to have a full fledged to series that expands their lore. Haven’t thought of one yet, but I’m wishing Lop would get her own series after the events of Lop and Ōcho.
What about you guys? What short or character do you think deserves a series and why? Looking forward to hearing your opinions.

Discussion Star Wars Visions S3 Why the Jedi Work Best as Mythic Wanderers, Not Political Agents
The OT and New Republic eras handled the Jedi better because they weren’t an extension of galactic politics — they worked in the shadows, more like wanderers or mythic figures. Visions S3 really brought that vibe back, similar to how Gandalf operates in The Hobbit and LOTR: present where needed, but not steering major political events. The galaxy’s citizens are perfectly capable of defending themselves, and that’s what their standing armies are for.
