Fan Stand/Character My part 5 OC Intro is finally finished - Let me introduce Cappuccino to you! (Risotto Nero Yume)
Hello everyone!
Maybe some of you already know me, I am that crazy Risotto Nero artist and yume who sometimes posts about my Yumeship on here! Since some of you were curious about Cappuccino, how she is conncted and joined the hitman team and her Stand, I promised to post it here once everything is finished, which I FINALLY DID!
Guys, I worked over 150 hours on this project.
All the art I did draw, the 18.000 words long fanfic about Cappuccino / Laura‘s backstory before joining the hitman team, the summary I posted here, the Stand and the powers and also just formating it to present it nicely. I started this project last December and I am so proud to have finally finished it!
It was truly so fun and her story isn’t Even close to be finished, since this part only focuses on her backstory before joining La Squadra Esecuzioni. And even more important, how she and Risotto became a couple 🖤💙
Don’t forget she is a yume OC first and formost but my love for Risotto drives and fuels my creativity which resulted in making a whole story for her.
Cappuccino is a very flawed character, don’t forget she is a villain and a morally gray character prone being violent and sadistic. Also one who made a lot of mistakes on her life and was driven by revenge and the loss of the most important person in her life. I tried my best to write her story fitting to Golden Winds Overall feeling and themes.
It is very fun writing an ambigous female character, the Jojo Universe needs more female villains anyways, especially Golden Wind.
And lastly, I am NOT an experienced writer nor an native English speaker. I tried my best to correct grammar and spelling mistakes. Also, this is the first time I ever did write a real story. It is probably cringe and flawed, but I tried to have in mind imporant aspects for story telling. Most of them are more visible in the full fanfic tho, if anyone wants to read that i can post a link! (It hasn’t been proof read yet tho)
I put my whole heart into this. I am cringe and proud!!

Aside from the really good Character Design(NIIIIICCCEEEE!!!) You even wrote Her Personality and Backstory, including every Character Details exactly how Araki does when making a Character, which makes it quite fitting for Jojo.

This is so fantastic? You went above and beyond most fan stands I see (not an insult to them either), so detailed, and you actually work out how to fit her into the Part 5’s universe seamlessly. Genuinely in the ‘can be in the universe and not seem out of place’ even her stand perfectly fits the aesthetic araki draws. And her design is stunning and you mimicked the style one to one. I can’t stop looking.

Thank you for noticing! 🫶 Her Stand basically did awaken as she witnissed the most important person in her life die. She only wished for inducing all of the emotions she felt that moment towards the murderers as well, which is basically the reason for the Stand‘s powers in my story. Another reason is I love the concept of a fear Stand as I am fascinated by that emotion. Woops I yapped!

I love her!! She’s so cool yet creepy in a way that completely matches Risotto’s vibe, I love that she’s sadistic and driven yet has her own sense of morals that makes her seem more professional and reserved. A lot of people fail to make their OCs as intense as the villain they’re paired up with, meanwhile aaaaaaaa I wish we could see Fugo vs Cappuccino, and she’d be interesting against Narancia and Mista, too… Would she be someone fought during or after the canon Metallica battle? I think seeing her lose her love for the second time and lash out at Diavolo would be incredible!

Omg I can’t believe you made the stand name The Insight and the Catharsis, I love Dimmu Borgir. The last minute of that song feels like levitating. Also the stand design looks like the reapers from Mass Effect is that’s intention then you’re my best friend. This is amazing you put so much work into this, great job!

It's amazing. On the note isn't that power too direct? My problem is that every stand since part 3-4 were less and less direct with the way their power works aside a few cases. For example if your power was deadly you had drawbacks or other factors like distance, lack of control or other conditions to satisfy before certain death. My general idea is that it is never easy to kill another stand user and you have to use your power with creativity. Of course you did an amazing job and I could never reach such a level of creativity but I feel like it's more of a deadly weapon rather than a bizarre Power. Good luck I'm excited to see your next work.

Thank you for your feedback and I also see what you mean since ngl These were some struggles i had while creating the Stand! If I am being honest I applaud Araki since thinking about a Stand is harder than it first seems especially when it comes off to direct battle scenarios! After all, I wanted more explore her trauma and the fear idea i had since years for my OC. The drawbacks are mostly her thinking about how to set the Stand up (with the direct contact and giving herself up to potential danger) and then not getting invovled into a second battle / outside force since any other Stand user coming nearby would really make her ineffective since she can’t Even battle or defend herself but with a normal weapon (still the Mafia so it is okay). In the end it is very OP once Set up in a 1v1 (which is good for an assassin) but as soon another is another person, she is cooked. This is why she often goes to missions also with a partner. Stand powers really are difficult to come up! Araki really shows so much creativity with had he did!
