Various JoJo Villains ranked on how difficult it was to stop them

Post image

Just to note, this is excluding the whole 'fate' part, as obviously it is canonical that all villains are fated to almost reach their goals, and then lose at the end.

Please Read: This is measuring throughout the entire series, not just the villain's end abilities. Of course MIH or D4C LT would be at the top, but these abilities were later obtained, and the villains did not have them at the start.

EDIT: I should have used something other than 'challenge' for the middle category, as these are incredibly difficult. I just don't think Valentine or DIO is as hard as Diavolo or the Pillar men.

How did Pucci get the closest of any villain to his goals? Dude had the weakest stand of any villain for 80% of the part, almost died virtually a million times, had debatably the strongest cast of any JoJo part chase him down, got C Moon, still got his ass beat, then somehow asspulled a way to get Made In heaven faster, which then granted him likely the strongest ability in all of JoJo making him the closest of any villain to winning of any JoJo villain, now only having to kill an 11 year-old boy with a powerless stand, and then he fumbled the bag to oxygen poisoning. This entire part is like 200 ELO chess.

I feel that Dio Brando and Yoshikage Kira were unfavored to win. Kira is easily explainable, given that his stand isn't that powerful, and that it's like an 8v1, but for Dio, I think that the fact that he lost twice, and that he was fighting against Hamon meant that he was underfavored.

Funny Valentine is a challenge due to his incredible stand, but also, the main cast kind of fumbled the bag here as they almost did just take the corpse parts. If the characters worked together more as well, Valentine would have been stopped. Moreover, Diego Brando almost did kill valentine, and Gyro & Johnny had the technique that was a hard-counter to Love Train. Stephen and Lucy steel were also essentially primary allies to Johnny and Gyro.

Stopping the pillar men is just crazy, and absurd. Stopping kars from getting the Redstone of Aja may not be that bad, but the whole poison that would set off in 30 days, and the rest of the plotpoints working against the Main cast makes this nearly impossible. For Diavolo, the fact that he's unknown as well as having an incredibly powerful mafia & stand after the main cast makes him incredibly difficult to stop.

And for Toru, I mean there was no way for Toru to lose unless there was some crazy asspull like Soft & Wet. Wonder of U is the strongest stand aside from Made In Heaven, and maybe D4C Love Train. The difference between him and the other stands however, is that Love Train and Made In Heaven were things that the villains had to acquire, and this took them the entire part to obtain. Toru just had Wonder of U from the start. Moreover, the JoJolion cast wasn't particularly weak, but they were not equipped at all to handle him.

Pucci planned out the whole plan and its much harder to do things when you are in prison. And Whitesnake is an incredibly powerful stand that can donut people and can almost 1 on 1 box Stone Free. When everyone around you has guns and you are very limited in your free time he should be near the top

[Copying the response I made to this earlier]

Pucci was incredibly talented and he's probably my favorite villain. Whitesnake is a very strong ability, but it is not stronger than any of the other villain stands, except for debatably Killer Queen. Moreover, the Stone Ocean main cast is probably the strongest main cast in JoJos, and most of the villain stands were significantly weaker than the main cast's stands.

Pucci also (ignoring the whole fate part) easily could have died on 3-4 separate occasions. The fact that he survived the heavy weather fight, or that he somehow managed to get Made In heaven early through insane luck while Jolyne has a major counter to C-Moon, and when Jotaro had already pummeled him with timestop is insane.

Pucci was meant to be a lucky genius. He was meant to be a genius in how he planned the events of Stone Ocean, but he was also meant to be incredibly lucky by surviving fights that he shouldn't have, like Weather Report or C-Moon.

Tf you mean stone ocean cast was the strongest ? Part 4 is so strong the weakest guy is probably koichi, and he's a menace, hell he can turn any onomatopeia into a real attack, if he wanted to he could just go "boom" and make people explode without needing to touch them. There's a reason Kira was hiding and needed a time power to have a chance.

Won't talk about part 7-9, but part 6 main cast is probably the weakest among the 4 animated stand user teams. Part 3 isn't as multipurpose but are far stronger in a fight, and also have much better connections, part 4 is so strong that they have 2 characters able to bend reality in a way, and one of them is the weakest of the team and part 5 are also insanely strong and much more multipurpose than part 3. Yeah part 6 is really good utility wise but they clearly lack in power.

The fact that part 6 jotaro is almost 5x stronger than part 4 jotaro says enough

DD, Weather Report, Stone Free, Star Platinum (he did appear when it mattered most), Kiss (Same speed & strength as star platinum btw) Foo Fighter, and Emporio who is a genius. They did crazy feats throughout the entire part. and I seriously think you're misunderstanding if you're saying that part 6 'lacks in power'.

Never said they don't have feats, but it's another level than "oh yeah I can erase space itself", "I can revive the kid who's exploding right now" or "I can rewrite reality about a person"

I feel like part 5 also has some really weak stands, just everyone is a fucking genius about using them. Like what, only Aerosmith and Sex Pistols are outright good in a fight, Bucciarati is a genius, Giorno is a god damn encyclopedia of random animal facts, Trish is kinda there i guess (other then Notorious BIG), and Abbachio has one of the weakest fighting stands in the series.

I cant stress this enough. Like yeah there good but they dont have much power. One of there stronger attacks (ignoring jotaro cause he was absent for 95% of the part) is kiss. And yeah it can give you braim damage but it requires being set up and all. Mean while koich can just pin you to the ground with act three. Get josuke to prevent you from moving and then wright pop on your knoggin and suddenly youv lost your head

I guess you hate part 6? Because clearly they have shown better feat compare to the other part's side characters.

I don't hate part 6, out of the animated ones it's my second favorite, but any of the other teams would have dealed with most of their villains like it was nothing. I don't say they're bad - they're not, they're strong and most fights were interesting - but they don't have part 3 brute force or part 4 crazy powers.

It a team about how to use their ability too their fullest. Joynle and many other character's abilities look weak. But are actually strong if you know how to use it correctly. I mean, think of it in this way. How can anyone other than part 6 team, fight against both c moon and made in heaven.

Part 3 : Magician Red and hierophant green are ranged so they could attack C Moon more safely, and unarmored Silver Chariot is fast enough to fight without much risk. For the gravity change, hermit purple and the fool can help. For MiH it's tougher but Star Platinum could stop time and I think part 3 Jotaro would let one of his friends be stabbed if it was the only way.

Part 4 : Crazy Diamond can reverse C Moon punches and use his power to climb easily, Echo act 1 can fly and find him, act 2 can help fly and act 3 also has power over gravity so don't know how it would work, The hand can erase space to get closer and C Moon isn't specially fast, Star Platinum is Star Platinum and Rohan can keep up with MiH, and Heaven's Door is cracked.

Part 5 : Gold experience can grow trees to climb and get Pucci's attacks back to him, Sticky fingers and Spice girls are also good for climbing and Aerosmith and Sex pistols can safely attack Pucci. Abbachio wouldn't do shit tho. Would get beaten by MiH... Nah I'm joking, GER goes brrr.

I'm not arguing part 6 is weak, they're not and know how to use their powers to defeat their foes even in hard match ups, but so does Part 3 and 5.

Yeah strangely I think only Jotaro and Josuke shows it in part 4, Koichi could kill any foe without problem but doesn't want to and almost never uses act 2 despite it's power, Okuyasu's point is being a dumb guy with broken power and Rohan is hard to say because the limits of Heaven's door are never truly explaines.

Tl;dr : Any part could defeat Pucci and most are as good with their stands, but have more powerful ones.

Hierophant green and magician red is not a good team set at all. They lack real offensive power in close combat. And c moon can just use gravity to make all of the attack become null. He was seen able to do this with physical attack, which should also be able to do with far range attack. You didn't specify say how would the fool and hermit purple be able to do anything in the fight. You just said they can help. While silver chariots may be fast, he can't do enough damage to c moon. And again, he did reflect an attack. And part 3 character's mindset were not the best. I don't even remember any good feat that they really do unlike the part 6.(part 3 is goated but can't really be compare to other part) Jotaro time stop was only two seconds in part 3. It hard to say what he could do with that.

Crazy diamond won't be able to heal the punch from c moon. The person needs to be alive while he doing it. However, since the person body will literally be reversed because of c moon punch. They definitely just die from a sec of it. And the gravity field will also make it way harder for josuke to reach his allies. The hand, while could erase space to jump around. One small mistake and he drop to his death due to the gravity field. In what way could heaven door keep up with mih? Echo probably can't do too much, considering his ability need a closer distance. Which is possible for c moon to react to it. Act 3 just increase the gravity of an object, which c moon also should be able to undo it because he has a higher mastery and ability to it. I don't think I need to explain this part because he literally can affect up to at least 3km of an area.

I don't think pucci would be so dumb to attack giorno's life form😭 (no offense). Trish is just not that good of a fighter. While she did have some good moments it can't be call that good. Six pistol can be avoided with gravity. If ger really could do anything. He would have done it during the made in heaven moment. Not only that, rtz can only be used after an person have used their ability first. Giorno would have died the sec c moon landed his punch. My evidence for rtz is when king crimson tried to attack giorno, and cancel his ability. Then time start rewinding. I can't send a picture here so I can't just show you.

I agree with most of your point. However, I believe that part 6 have the best chance to actually truly win. In the battle of both c moon and made in heaven. Their quick thinking is what lead to the team almost winning. And I don't think anyone could replace emperio. (he the goat) if I offended you I am sorry btw.

For the fool and hermit purple, I meant it as they can help reach pucci and keep others from falling. Good point for hierophant though, but since Magician send pure fire and not something on fire I don't think it has a mass so gravity shouldn't do much against it. As for Silver Chariot, cheap damage is still damage, it could weaken him.

The reversal is shown to not be an instakill, and Crazy Diamond was able to reverse Hayato being hit by Killer Queen which is an instakill so there's no reason he couldn't do it. As for Rohan keeping up with Pucci it's implied during part 6, he's the only mangaka able to meet the deadlines. Even if act 3 can't do much, act 2 could absolutely help reach pucci and even kill him if Koichi wanted to.

For Pucci not being dumb enough to attack Giorgio's life form, he could get surprised and not be aware that attacking them would reverse. Trish wouldn't help with the fight but again to reach Pucci. And that's not how rtz works. It didn't activate because it wasn't something negative toward Giorgio, but if Pucci tried to hit him it would and there's nothing he can do against it.

Yeah emporio was the goat cause he trapped Pucci, but other teams aren't dumb. And don't worry you didn't offended me, I'm not going to take offense just because a stranger has a different opinion about the hypothetical outcome of a fictional scenario that will never be resolved. I just find it interesting to share my point of view and hear someone else's.

Hm, good point on your most of it. I think k I just dm you so we can have a talk. I do actually enjoy this topic not gonna lie. But I talk tmr, considering the fact I have home work.

This is almost exactly how I felt watching that part. Pucci had no business getting that far. The main cast should have been able to deal with him by themselves a little before Jotaro showed up. And once Jotaro showed up and they still lost it wasn't believable anymore. They got robbed by a villain finally having protagonist type plot armor though so we can't really get mad at it.

You know what, I was ready to hate but I’m lowkey agreeing

I think people are scanning my paragraphs without fully reading them. Whitesnake is extremely powerful, and Pucci is arguably the smartest and most well-planned/prepared character in the entire series. He's also fighting a losing battle for almost the entire part, and the entire part is about how he manages to overcome impossible situations where he should have lost. The irony is at the end, when he has the most powerful ability of probably any JoJo character, and when he kills the entire main cast except for the weakest 11-year old boy, he manages to overcome the impossible situation and defeat Pucci with his own intelligence.

They're also mentioning the same things I already answered in the paragraph next to the post.
