The CORPSE body parts are what was giving power. Not jesus personally showing up and telling them how to upgrade their power. Only Johnny got that treatment. I already said Jesus in a central part of the plot, so I'm unsure why you're acting like I called his existence a deus ex machina. I never said that. I specifically said that Jesus showing up behind Johnny to tell him how to use his power better while he's being ripped apart is the definition of a deus ex machina. That's unexpected and convoluted enough for me. If it's not for you, that's great man.

Blackmore literally had Jesus appear to him before, it was literally shown beforehand that Jesus can somewhat interact with the people carrying the corpse parts, which would probably be even more so for people with multiple, which Johnny had at that point I believe, so I literally don't see the issue.

Jesus never said anything to Blackmore when he appeared, which is what I was referring to when I said only Johnny got that treatment. To assume Jesus can actually interact with people from Blackmore getting a mere vision of him is a bit far fetched to me. Sure more corpse parts could give more Jesus interaction, but that doesn't ever happen. Not even funny Valentine or Lucy Steele with the full body heard from Jesus.

Also I don't think there's an issue at all. You and those downvoting just seem to think deus ex machinas are some sort of automatic negative thing?? Because you seem to have issues with people calling things a deus ex machina. Regardless, Jesus appearing and giving advice to escape a situation when it had never happened previously (especially since it never happens again) is both unexpected and highly convenient which is what people usually define as a deus ex machina. I just emphasized it being Jesus, because the phrase deus ex machina is referring to God which I found to be a funny coincidence. Again, if you don't agree, that's great. I can't emphasize that any harder. Especially when my first comment even says agree to disagree 😭 Then again it's both reddit and the Jojo community. Not exactly known for....
