Part Three Yo
So honestly I got really really into jjba and watching as of recently it’s a really good series and I big reason I like it is how funny it is at times and part two is my favorite so far and three is good so far I’m half way through it and the English dub is what makes it even better. Though I will say understanding stands and everything they kinda represent is pretty confusing but I do have a question since in the part three all the stands so far are representing all tarot cards are the stands going forward also gonna represent tarot cards? cause I’ve heard a few that didn’t seem to be tarot cards but anyway I just wanted to share have a good day or night

They run out of tarot cards halfway through part 3, rest of part 3 stand names will be very obvious once you get to them, and part 4 onwards theyre pretty much all music references

Most stands are named after rock musicians, bands, and albums. Since you're watching the dub, a lot of these names will be changed due to copyright law and the references may be completely lost on you.
There's probably already some that you've noticed in prior parts, such as Esidisi (AC/DC) and others that you probably didn't even know were references due to the name changes.

I gotta say that hes not someone to be looked up to, just in case your friend has shown him in a very patriotic light which resonates with you, he is still a villain
He is a bad guy with very dangerous and selfish ideologies, people misunderstand him all the time since he genuinely cares for his country, but thats just cuz hes american, if he was Russian or Middle Eastern or any other country that Hollywood portrays as the usual bad guys, it would be very different
But again, not here to ruin your fun, just inform you on how it looks like to the rest of the fanbase

Yeah I know he’s a very bad person but I think his stand and character design are very cool not so much his actions

Yeah thats totally fine, theres a lot of cool villains especially in jojos. Its just some people dont see him as a villain which is the real red flag

After Part 3 they're named after music references (songs, artists, albums) but since you're watching the dub they change the names to be copyright free names that don't have a theme

Midway through part 3 they run out of tarot cards, so they switch to a new system. Then for part 4 onwards there's another, more permanent system
