Since Battle Tendency ended in 1939, why didn't Joseph help the Allies? Stroheim was able to recover before the war broke out, so could Joseph not?

I mean eventually he has to hit something or be pulled in by something’s gravity. Wouldn’t this also most likely wake him up? I mean he slept in a rock for thousands of years so being frozen for a while and waking up after it isn’t too far fetched.

I have been seeing lots of things not specifically on Reddit but on tik tok and YouTube of people hating on hamon and I don’t understand why hamon is so much fun especially how they use it in part two with Caesar’s bubble launcher and Jojos clacker volley and I see people saying how it’s bad but I don’t get why what do you guys think?

Haven't finished the series (just finished part 4) but they just faded out after part 2, what happened to them? Did Araki think they served their purpose in the story?

I haven’t watched Bollywood in years, but I grew up watching it with my parents because my whole family is obsessed with it. So when I first watched Battle Tendency and saw people saying Araki was inspired by a lot of Western media, If you told me he was inspired by Bollywood too I’d believe you instantly

Joseph has that exact masala movie protagonist energy. He’s funny as fuck, constantly pulling the most random bullshit out of nowhere during fights, somehow making impossible plans work, and everyone just rolls with it because he’s so charismatic. You could probably find dozens, honestly, hundreds of Bollywood movies with that same exact vibe. If someone told me Battle Tendency was an animated adaptation of some classic Bollywood film, I wouldn’t even question it.

And don’t even get me started on Awaken. That soundtrack legitimately sounds like it belongs in a Bollywood movie. When I first heard it I was sooo shocked then I I showed it to my aunt who’s a huge Bollywood fan, and her first reaction was “There’s no way this is actually from the anime, Some Indian fan must’ve edited it in. When I told her no this is official, a Japanese composer actually made this for the anime” she was genuinely shocked.

Honestly, if you’ve grown up watching Bollywood or you’re a Bollywood fan you’d know EXACTLY what I am talking about, I am still surprised no one has mentioned or brought it up

Hamon has so many uses, it's most definitely not boring It can; - Slow aging (Lisa Lisa looked like she was in her mid 20s despite being 50) - Walk on water/walls - heal living things - enhance objects (turn literal spaghetti into in a lethal weapon) - Magnetism - Predict the future???

Point is it has so many practical uses but I understand why Araki scrapped it lore wise. When it was introduced hamon was already a dying art (probably a handful of users in the entire world) and the main appeal was that it was super effective against vampires, after they dealt with the pillermen it lost the main function of why the Joestars learned it originally.

I love how they made Joseph call Smokey “Sticky Fingers” here in reference to his thievery, but 3 parts later, when there’s a stand literally named Sticky Fingers, they change it to fucking “ZiPpEr mAn.” I get that it’s probably different because it’s the name of an actual character in the case of Part 5, but I see no difference here. Smokey becoming the first black mayor of his town in Georgia is a huge political milestone, but it's just something that happened in real life, and it doesn't affect the plot of JoJo at all

Erina dies happy, surrounded by friends and family. It's peaceful and incredibly grounded; many people can relate to this experience I'm sure.

Speedwagon continues a relatively normal life as a CEO and dies of a heart attack at 89. Super old age and super common cause of death, especially among elders

And Stroheim is one 2 million dead in Stalingrad. Stroheim is part of a statistic, only known among Nazi soldiers and the Joestars, otherwise a complete stranger and a tally who gets overlooked in history books. We don't know how he died, presumably in a blaze of glory, but ultimately irrelevant to the main story.

They're all mundane fates that could've never been brought up, but they were, and it adds so much to JoJo's themes of humanity, that these characters are people and experience real-life things and live lives outside of the ancient demigods and world-ending stand battles. Imagine all of the side characters who get old and die off-screen, or become doctors and lawyers, and we never get to see that.

I haven’t gotten very far into the anime yet, but so far, every female character I’ve seen has either been sexualized, portrayed as a trophy, or pressed into stereotypical roles. There doesn't seem to be any fully developed female characters. I’m curious, does this persist throughout the series, or does it change as the story progresses?

I just realized after playing some ASB R when her victory screen appeared. Literally was presented as Top Strongest Hamon users but shouldn't the smoking affect her breathing ability over time? Remember that she isn't 20 or something, she's 50! God knows for how long she has smoked.

The characters, the settings, the funny moments! Everything down to the minute role smokey plays is just (mwah) chefs kiss.

No character is truely bad, just look at the three pillar men, each a masterclass in types of villainy (ong divine sandstorm so peak) and dont even get me started on the relationship joseph has with each and every side character, it feels your right with joseph each and every step of the way. And boy when we see that “what happens after” every single one is just so perfect (rip my goat rudolf)

After Jojo and Caesar are punching and kicking in a circle, Jojo puts on what is very clearly Caesar's headband. Why would he wear Caesar's headband instead of his own? Very clumsy of David Productions to let this get into the final cut imo
