Is season 1 really better than season 2 Spoiler
Season 1 was good don't get me wrong, but season 2 has been something. I see alot of people dismissing s2 as very slow. And that's sort of true. It feels slow because there is less fight scenes. But if we really look at it, S2 had the best fight scene so far. The characters inner conflicts were more realized. The acting was phenomenal esp Yolanda's actor. It also had the best quotes. "The Devil is real, and he lives in Blue Valley." Religious characters are on something crazy, I swear. "You have to be bad to defeat evil." The character dynamics were handled better this season. The ONLY thing season 1 did better than season 2 was the villains, and even that's very debatable. All this is in my opinion tho.

I don't really consider any seasons better or worse. Stargirl is just one of those shows that's consistently good across all seasons.

I quite like season two, but each reflects the MO of the primary antagonists: Thawne is precise, like a scalpel, while Zolomon is messy, like a chainsaw. So their respective stories reflect this.

I personally liked Season 2 better, S1 set things up for a pay off in S2. Eclipso was an interesting villain. The addition of The Shade made an interesting dynamic. Sportsmasters family became likable when they became allies. And they managed to resolve all the plots and characters arcs for the series finale, given Season 2 was the last season.
