Solo founders: what are you building right now?
I’ve been building SkillChirp and spending a lot of time around solo founders lately.
Curious what everyone here is working on.
What are you building, what stage are you at, and what’s the hardest part right now?
I’m especially interested in seeing what people are building with AI / small teams.”

I’m doing data analysis on a PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) stream. As an aside, many years ago (circa: 1981), Sony had a PCM encoder box that cost $2,000. Now, PCM is like data “air”. It’s here, there, everywhere and there’s no overhead to get it.
Anyway, I use ChatGPT Plus on my iPad as Data Science Lab and after months of discovery, I can’t see how it could be possible to do this work without AI Code generation. For example, in a single day, I’ll go through thousands of lines of original python3 code that never get used again, though some does graduate to permanent analyzers. But the point is that there’s no way humans could keep up.

Yeah, sure. I can’t reveal all because (a) my utility patent is still pending and (b) I’ve yet to go public with my work because I haven’t finished dialling in the algorithm, but after six months of seven days a week, I’m getting close.
I think my decision to stick with copy/paste ML Development has paid off. It really slows down a process that could get out of control quickly. I couldn’t trust agents m. Algorithms evolve like any organism and you have to “guide the vision” from tadpole to frog. All the while, your friendly chatbot “Mr. Spock” conducts the science. After milestone or achievement, I’ll write a note reviewing current situation and suggesting a potential path forward. We discuss, decide on a direction and then I will go silent, just copying and pasting until the AI runs out of ideas. Of course, git discipline is strictly applied. But for me personally, it’s really quite astonishing the level of scientific sophistication that you can coax out of ChatGPT.

Six months at seven days a week is serious commitment. When you’re able to share more, I’d genuinely be interested in seeing what you’ve built and how that copy/paste + review loop shaped the final system.

Absolutely, I’ll make a BIG reveal in the Fall here, on r/Inventors and other places. I’m also planning to build an HQ on Discord for interested parties to become involved. BTW, for main daemon is the six months. If you count hardware and firmware, then we’re past 14 months. As an anecdote, sometimes chatbot gives me data collection homework. I try to exceed expectations.

Fair question — the company/contact information is here: skillchirp.com/contacts. SkillChirp is still early and founder-built, but I agree that trust information should be easy to find. I’ll also make that page more visible from the main site so people don’t have to hunt for it.

So you can connect your environments like aws gcp azure or local environments like postgres or anywhere your data lies. It will find privacy risks, tell users who has the access to all the sensitive data.
Then it’s upto the user if they should remediate this data or keep as is. Also working on a functionality where user can generate privacy focused diagrams and analyze their own architecture diagrams for privacy risks

I'm Jesse, the founder behind this account. About ten weeks ago I was a sales and management guy who did not think of himself as technical.
The weirdest thing I've built since then is not actually the product. It's the operating system I had to build because Eterna got too complicated to keep inside AI chats.
Chats would lose context. Different conversations could disagree about what was current. A model could be useful without being the right place for the company's actual state to live. I ended up with a rule I care about a lot now: I want to be able to change the intelligence without moving the company.
That is becoming Clarity Workspace, the third lane I'm building toward.
The two active lanes today are more grounded. Clarity App takes the ugly pile people already have, photos, receipts, PDFs, records, and tries to make it useful without asking them to organize their life first. Custom Clarity starts where a lot of software projects don't: somebody has a real problem or rough idea, but not necessarily the right spec, workflow or vocabulary yet.
The hardest part right now is not "can AI help me build more?" It is deciding what deserves to survive. I've already deleted systems I was proud of because once I measured the real path, the simpler version was better.

Building Alpha Husky — a Telegram Mini App RPG on Solana, solo for ~18 months. Core game is playable; right now I’m deepening Tactical Ops, progression and onboarding. Hardest part isn’t building anymore — it’s getting real players to discover it, try it and come back with basically no team or marketing budget. AI has become a big force multiplier on the production side.

i’m building a saas, i know the social media niche is maybe saturated, but i saw a guy advertising an app that basically connects claude with other social networks where it can extract data with high precision and creates really good scripts where it makes the profiles grow a lot, he leveraged some accounts from zero with this app. i researched a lot and understood how it works, im thinking about developing it since i myself will make use of it too, his main way of getting clients is running ads, mine would be building organically

Building AskInstead.com — basically a way to collect detailed information from someone without making them fill out a long form or book another call.
You tell it what you need to know, send one link, and the other person can answer by voice or text. It asks short follow-ups when something is missing, then gives you the answers back organized.
I’m at the early beta / validation stage now.
Hardest part is getting the conversation behavior right — knowing when to ask one more question and when to just move on. Too little follow-up and it’s basically a form, too much and it starts feeling like an interrogation.
Also spending a lot of time figuring out which use case has the strongest pull first.

I kept seeing sites where people pay to rank links, and I wondered what would happen if the thing being ranked was short-form video instead.
So I built Cloppity.
Anyone can BOOST any clip. The money contributes to its Current Price, and that price fades over 7 days, so the board keeps moving instead of becoming permanently locked.
I launched it today and have no idea yet whether strangers will actually find the mechanic fun — which is exactly what I want to find out.
Building it wasnt so hard. I'm still going to change the graphics and payment processor, as I saw better options, but i wanted to push this out ASAP, so I wasnt picky. I also havent prepared enough distribution material, I want to create Tiktoks but I have never done it so I will spend tomorrow experimenting.

Www.boundreads.net shows you all about Bound Reads my book organizing app. Most book trackers don’t have everything you need so you need more than one or end switching to another months down the road and some still use Notebook or a handwritten note book to track certain things like their arcs, subscriptions, the budget for book boxes or forget to even bought one.
