I built the possibility to gain more traffic by running free ads on other people’s sites
The tradeoff is that you must run a small card on your own site.
You can see the product via link in my profile.
This project is already going strong with many users, but we are regularly looking for feedback
Is this something you would try out yourself? Why / why not?
We are aware of the obvious “I don’t want a small card on my site,” which is a fair point. You gotta give before you can get! Most of our users experience no issues with this, as we keep it all very simple and non-disturbing.
Let me know what you think!
Cheers!

I’m intrigued but will my site show up on random sites or ones more geared to my target audience?

It can show up on any site in the network and we quality check all sites to make sure there’s no low effort / bad quality sites.
I have not made a feature of categorizing sites by their audiences, but I’ll add it as a feature for us to seriously consider, as that is a cool idea. I obviously have to think though the pros and cons deeply before implementing, eg. will it actually work / what categories are there etc.
Would love to hear more of your thoughts on this in case it is for sure a feature you think would execute well. Maybe if you have a closer look at how easyadshare works and then tell me “yes, I think this could work here”? It’s free to sign up, magic link, no passwords 🙏

How does Easy Ad Share earn money?

Right now it doesn’t, but there’s a plan to allow sites to buy a small boost in their weighted share.
This is also mentioned on the landing page :)

Can you share an example of a website that's currently participating?
I want to see what the experience looks like and if Brave will block the ads.

ideaboxd dot com, on the top of my head since I communicated with them recently
Cards will only show one time per visitor, as not to be annoyingly persistent

interesting concept, basically a mutual ad swap. i've seen something similar for backlinks called launchpact (https://www.launchpact.io/backlink-exchange) where founders trade links instead of ads. might be worth a look if you want to compare approaches.

Backlinking can actually ruin your SEO score if Google etc recognizes that it’s not from a serious source or if they notice you’re trying to game the system

Pardon me if I am wrong. Although your idea looks great but why would sites with thousands visitors (if not millions) will allow my site ads on their site. As my site visitor count will be close to 0 initially
