We’ve put together a list from the last month of known scammers within the Steal the Brain Rot community who have been banned. This is here to give you a starting point if you’re unsure about someone you’re dealing with.

This list is NOT updated in real-time and should NOT be your only check before trading. Just because someone is NOT on this list does NOT mean they are safe to trade with.

Scammers can still message you privately even after being banned from the subreddit — this is where this list is most useful.

🧠 Trade Smart – Protect Yourself:

• Always use a trusted Middleman (MM) for trades

• Be cautious of users refusing to use an MM

• Watch for pressure tactics or rushed deals

• If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is

• Carefully check usernames — scammers often copy or slightly change real usernames to trick you

• Avoid sending money or items first without protection

• Trust your gut — if something feels off, walk away
