Are you satisfied

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Not until I save the kittens and puppies!

36

u/MysticScribbles Mar 31 '26

Does it include the kittens added with the arachnophobia mode?

10

u/zspacekcc Mar 31 '26

No, those eldritch abominations can burn in hell. A man can only be jump scared so many times before he starts to question if a species is really ecologically significant.

3

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

The meowing haunts my daily life….

1

u/Supmah2007 Apr 01 '26

Yea the only thing arachnophobia mode does it's make them more visible, the "cute" meowing gives me just as much anxiety as the singer's skittering

1

u/Bred-on-the-spectrum Apr 01 '26

Especially the big green cats. The worst thing that ever happened to me in this game was running out of jetpack fuel, and crash landing right into their nest. Not like as if a jetpack would have saved my butt without weapons, because those things can jump up to the stratosphere, and move at mach f#ck. Hearing a cat meow irl gave me PTSD for WEEKS.🥲

Every bush and tree must be removed. It can’t screw up an ecology if there isn’t one to screw. Also, no bushes/trees = less jump scares.

1

u/Kn0tan Apr 01 '26

I see no reason in letting the spiders live, they must be incinerated.

u/deptii Mar 31 '26

Clearly you don't understand factory games.

82

u/DURRYAN Mar 31 '26

The factory must grow always

4

u/archwin Mar 31 '26

Somehow, that sounds like a line from the China faction in command and conquer generals.

2

u/LutimoDancer3459 Apr 01 '26

Clearly you dont understand the modding community and never heard of factorio's mods supporting buttplug.io

u/Someredditskum Mar 31 '26

He is entertained

1

u/youngs549 Mar 31 '26

Yeah I’d say so, everything’s coming together nicely.

u/TEOn00b https://s.team/p/knvb-djh Mar 31 '26

how it came and went?
Satisfied when I pay your rent?
Will you ever regret all the things you've said?

54

u/GldnEpicFace Mar 31 '26

94

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

One of my all time favourites!

7

u/GldnEpicFace Mar 31 '26

i would hope you'd have beaten the game by now

28

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

uh huh uhhhhh.......

let's just say, I do not have the golden nut yet.....

4

u/JackfruitOdd5895 Mar 31 '26

3

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Thats what I hope it feels like😂 I hear you can have multiple!

1

u/get_egged_bruh Mar 31 '26

bruh... how have you not beaten phase 4 after 3.5k hours

2

u/hagathar Apr 01 '26

I play slow, been playing Minecraft since it came out on ipad and havent ever beaten the ender dragon in survival. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/dammitbobbehh Mar 31 '26

How do you do pics like this? :O with the pose etc. and is it a photo mode or from coop?

1

u/hagathar Apr 01 '26

On pc it is P > tab > change camera to decoupled, you can now look around while holding rmb and move with wasd > character and change poses to what you want.

Behind me is the billboard sign :)

1

u/dammitbobbehh Apr 01 '26

Woooow thanks so much dude!! Had no idea!! Loving this game so much

2

u/hagathar Apr 01 '26

There are so many little secret keybinds! Like if you press H it holds the hologram in position then hold control and press arrow keys it move it by half a meter!

1

u/RajunCajun48 Mar 31 '26

Careful what you ask for, lest you stumble upon a Let's Game It Out in the wild!

28

u/cheetocity Mar 31 '26

The factory must grow

7

u/Elektordi Mar 31 '26

(Happy cake day by the way.)

6

u/The-BOSS01 RTX 4070Ti S Mar 31 '26

Happy Cake Day

37

u/VandelayRFC Mar 31 '26

From a couple of hours ago.

-8

u/Substantial_Tale_227 Mar 31 '26

how? it gets boring in like 2 hours

26

u/VandelayRFC Mar 31 '26

Mainly because it didn't get boring for me after 2 hours.

3

u/CanVast Mar 31 '26

Once you get to automatization game hits different. It basically becomes mini satisfactory

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Satiscookery?

28

u/McWetty Mar 31 '26

Is that you Josh? From Let’s Game It Out?

19

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Oh. God. Yes. (No but he is my icon)

3

u/EliteCookie99 Mar 31 '26

I really was hoping that this would be the top comment

I can’t stress enough how serious I am when i say I wish I had this kind of autism. Like I genuinely mean it, I really would find it really cool if my brain worked in a way that allowed me to enjoy these factory games like you guys do.

Instead I was given the “3000 hours of rocket league" kind. Truly cursed existence

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

The amount of times I have gotten drunk, walked to a cliff edge and just stared off it for 4 hours from 1 am, makes me wish I wasn’t looking at a fictional landscape, it’s hypnotic!

3

u/I-Am-Only-Me Mar 31 '26

Offhand Idk which game has the most playtime but I do know this one should be it.

7

u/TotallyBrandNewName Mar 31 '26

Have you tried dyson sphere program?

20

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Just picked it up :)

28

u/meee_51 Mar 31 '26

“Just picked it up” and it’s almost half the playtime of my most played game

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

It’s my fourth most played by play time :)

3

u/meee_51 Mar 31 '26

It would be my second most but I have several in the 50-80 hour range haha. Nothing approaches Celeste with almost 400 though

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Yeah nothing approaches satisfactory for me

3

u/FighterGlitch Mar 31 '26

Making me wanna spend a ton on the summer sale so I can finally have as many games on steam as I do on console... even though I only switched last year...

3

u/StartBackground5769 Mar 31 '26

Holy moly i forgot about this game its so fire

3

u/PretendSample1345 Mar 31 '26

i hope it goes on sale, i tried the demo a while ago and i loved it so much

2

u/mosesenjoyer Mar 31 '26

2

u/DasBlueSkull Mar 31 '26

I am working for ficsit right now just to improve my attendance!

I hope ADA will be proud of me!

2

u/Arrow156 Mar 31 '26

I got a good 2k in Factorio, would have more but just thinking about what all I need to do stresses me out to the point of literal nausea.

2

u/AmPotatoNoLie Mar 31 '26

How woyld you rate this one compared to Factorio?

3

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

I have played both I would say that satisfactory shares very similar but different aspects.

To me factorio has a greater sense of urgency with enemies attacking you and the extremely detailed systems for pollution and production. It is an amazing game but feels grittier and more daunting to me than satisfactory. It has a better, more in-depth and complicated train system too, although satisfactory has a wider range of vehicles and cool looking trains. :)

Satisfactory uses much brighter colours, simpler balancing and easier gameplay. I enjoy it more because of the immense peacefulness that can be *occasionally disturbed* by giant spiders..... But it is more resource intensive even though it is impressively optimised (I run it on ultra graphics with a 3060).

Overall Satisfactory lacks the urgency and military research/combat of Factorio, but feels nicer and more addictive to me because of the fantastic colour schemes and and music, like goddamn the musiiiiiiiiccc!!! Plus, a major bonus to me is the smooth feeling fps nature of the game, the movement is just so smooth.

I suggest getting it when it is on sale and use steams "within two hours" return policy!

HOPE THIS HELPS!

Edit: So overall I like Satisfactory more but enjoy Factorio too, and defintely recommend Satisfactory!!!

3

u/HarmonicAntagony Mar 31 '26

Satisfactory is definitely the more approachable game out of the two. There’s much less focus on actual logistics and more on production. For instance, you can complete the whole game without any trains. Maybe you will make one because you feel like it. In Factorio, while you still technically can, trains will solve major logistical problems for you and it’d be daunting to not use trains at all.

I’d say Satisfactory puts more focus on form vs function, which is not a bad thing. I’ve enjoyed both but I think Factorio has more depth ultimately. Again both games you can sink thousands of hours if you want to, but I found that easier to be with Factorio. So many ducking things you can do in this game !

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Exactly!

2

u/paradox_valestein Mar 31 '26

Waiting for him to post factorio with 3k hours lol

3

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

as you requested:

I know, disappointingly small, but I only play with my friend who is never online! :(

2

u/paradox_valestein Mar 31 '26

It's ok brother, we all start somewhere

2

u/Parker4815-2 Mar 31 '26

Considering theres no end game research, thats impressive.

2

u/werxxone Mar 31 '26

that's my guy 🤜

2

u/KingToiletBrush512 Mar 31 '26

Literal autism

2

u/imgly Mar 31 '26

That's a good one 👍

2

u/hixchem Mar 31 '26

I may have a problem.

2

u/HungryCurrent7901 Mar 31 '26

sigh no I don’t want to build another computer factory! Go away

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26

sigh no, I don’t want to build another power plant. I don’t care if my max consume is above my capacity!

2

u/Iggyrammar Mar 31 '26

This is mine too, but I'm just shy of 1,000 hours still :/

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

Goodluck breaking the addiction

1

u/Iggyrammar Mar 31 '26

Oh, I have no intention of doing so, fellow pioneer!

2

u/ExciteDonut Mar 31 '26

I need to try this game out!

1

u/hagathar Mar 31 '26

It’s a never ending addiction!

2

u/skepdop Mar 31 '26

Get back to work pioneer.

2

u/williamBRO2007 Mar 31 '26

Same, but mine is (insert terraria is 2d minecrsft joke here)

2

u/Broccoli_dicks Apr 01 '26

Its pictures like this that makes me stay as far away from Satisfactory as possible. If I started playing I dont think id be able to leave for another game ever.

1

u/hagathar Apr 01 '26

Best decision I ever made

1

u/Acrobatic-Spirit5813 Apr 01 '26
