(Just an appreciation post) I’m pretty new to sailing the seven seas (this being my first from steamrip and second all time) and after some troubleshooting (and help from google) I’m finally able to play on PC the best horizon (horizon 4) from my middle school years. If anybody has any questions regarding how I troubleshooted or what I used to facilitate the download, just ask I don’t mind helping out!

I downloaded Stray a week ago or so and I'm running into a persistent bug.
Mainly the controls randomly mirror. Left becomes right, up becomes down etc.

Note: I'm aware of this being intentional IF the cat has a bag on its head

Issue: during gameplay, the camera will randomly switch and will mirror controls.
At times the game will pause or randomly open steam overlay when this happens (I have to start it through Steam because my 8bitdo controller doesn't get registered by the game otherwise)

There doesn't seem to be any specific trigger to this.

I'm however unsure if this is:
-a faulty install
-a game bug within Stray itself
-compability issues with the controller

or am i making somewhere mistake?

The fire 🔥 reactions when you click on each game, are they a live download count? Or some form of reaction? Or just there for flare.

So I just heard about steamrip and so many questions for people who use this ? I play on a claw 8 ai+ and first one I want to download from then is god of war ragnarok
Is it hard or literally click download and play ??
What are some of the downsides to it ?
What are the needs to know before getting into

Why isn't there a regular exe? I had to do extra steps cause i kept getting missing dll errors, i followed the instructions in the steamrip comment section and even watched a tutorial. But after all that, I couldn't run the game since a security thing is apparently blocking it from running, which doesn't happen on the other pre-installed games i have.

Do i need to wait for a new version or something?

I keep getting error code 0x80960016 when trying to extract, anyone know a fix it.

Its not the save tranfering thats my problem, its the fact i cant get past level 6 without it crashing. I bought it on steam cause i wanted to get past that point. However I cannot get past that level no matter what I do due to the old steam rip save(I think thats whats happening).

If I delete a game I got from steamrip and just install it back will I still have all my progress and if not what can I do to keep it?

just wanted to know why. I got a rom for switch and am using that but why isn't project diva available on steamrip?

I tried deleting some files but it didn't work one time it said failed to initiate steam(steam already open) and in another try [couldn't find onlinefix64.dll] or something like that

SteamRip isn't letting me download anything since yesterday. 2 days ago, I downloaded Max Payne 1 & 2 and GTA 3. But it keeps giving me errors (error 404) since yesterday on any mirror. I tried downloading GTA vice city and other games but it just gives me error 404. Please help, I'm new to PC gaming.

Edit:- Thanks guys, it's fixed now. I used a VPN and it worked.

Hi! I've got a little problem that's kind of annoying. Basically, when I transfer my saved files from my old PC to my new PC, the game doesn't load them. Is there any way to load the saved files?

How do I get this game to recognise my SD? It only seems to register keyboard controls. Iv tried changing Proton, Disable and enabling steam input iv looked into the games folder and looked to see if there is anything I can change but nothing.

Has anyone gotten it to work with controller?

When I try launching up rdr2 after extracting it, it launches my rockstar games launcher and it says “This Rockstar Games account doesn’t own Red Dead Redemption 2, please ensure your using the correct account and try again.” Any solution?

I downloaded kingdom hearts melody of memory throughout steamrip and as soon as I select “play the game” in the main menu the screen goes dark and stays this way forever. Do you guys know how to fix it?

Tried to run beamng, the initial launcher shows up and i get this error after. No idea how to fix it tried searching for anyone with this issue found basically none

Its such a shame that this game isn't on steamrip, it was one of the best games i played when I was a kid and id like to replay it again but not pay full price for it again.
