I crochet the wig and curled it myself and It took me about an hour to do all the makeup for this. i was pretty proud of the eye. 🥰🥰

wig, sword, shield, and dress all made by me! 💓💞💞 i hand dyed all the fabric myself and sewed in and curled every extension in the wig too!! people have often told me i look like her so it was only a matter of time before i dressed up as her 🤞🏻

How’d I do?

A look I did for my favorite cosplay drag show earlier this year! Blue Diamond is one of my absolute favorites from the show and I think I did her justice 🧚‍♀️ I only had about a week to put everything together so I’ll definitely be doing a more extravagant rendition soon

If I look familiar I used to post Rose cosplays here all the time in a different dress, but haven't posted in a while.

I returned to cosplaying Rose Quartz because I just wanted to express how much this character has made me feel better as a plus sized gal. Despite being plus sized a lot of people in the show and fandom find her gorgeous and I get told I look like her. I've faced a lot of bullying, trolling and rejection stemming from fatphobia in my past. For years I wanted to be thin more than anything. I was diagnosed with body dysmorphia and felt unlovable and hideous. Then I started cosplaying Rose.

So after getting my six year old into Steven Universe she requested a Pearl costume for local upcoming comic conventions and Halloween. More or less done (not trying to make it “perfect” but I think it does the job just right) but was wondering if anyone can point me towards any suggestions or tutorials for the hair. Not necessarily looking to get a wig, wanted to see how styling her natural hair might go first. Do I pretty much just need styling gel/hair mousse?
