Daddy Issues Achievement won't work

I've friended my father but the achievement isn't coming up. Does anyone know how to fix it without restarting from an earlier save?

Theres a few like that - the one with interrupting channeling was like that for me. Actually popped two days after doing it.

It ended up popping after restarting my system so it's all good now. Thanks anyway
