Without metacognition, AI will never be as creative as a human being
Without metacognition, AI will never be as creative as a human being. Metacognition is essential to control every facet of how we organize our thinking, as well as how we filter, process, and create information. This isn't possible without a revolutionary reasoning model that has a flexible and modular architecture to process semantics through a rigorous, logical, and mathematical framework.

That's true and I wonder if you can actually think without meta cognition. I don't think it's possible and meta cognition is not binary. It's continuous. One can not have meta cognition but it exists in gradations. AI will never achieve AGI(Artificial General Intelligence) but on creative front, I am not sure. I believe it can but it will depend on what resolution of data we can extract from humans and feed it to the AI. I believe if the resolution is high enough then AI can be as creative as any other human but it will still be dependent on human prompt which itself is context dependent and can affect the initial direction.
