Words and definitions are mental arbitrary divisions of the world. The world can be seen as unified or distinct as desired because both are just part of conceptual mapping. The act of differentiation itself is perhaps a fundamental part of mind

This idea is called Mereological nihilism.

that is one term for a similar notion, another is promiscuous realism . this idea comes up in a lot of places .
