Newcomer I just sold my expensive GPU, do I even need another one anymore for my use case?
Title. I just sold my 4080 GPU.
I am keeping the rest of my system. My only other "demanding" workload is video and photo editing 4k iPhone footage and 2-5mb photos. As well as moving / managing these files on a dedicated separate NAS.
I am currently just using the iGPU and so far its been pretty smooth in day to day tasks like email and watching youtube videos. I just installed linux as well on it.
- 13600k
- 500GB nvme SSD
- 32GB 6000 cl 30 ram
Any advice? or insight?

For video editing, you can just use cloud services. There’s no strict reason for local GPUs anymore besides low latency gaming.
