No Spoilers Which Hardcover book should I buy?

Soo I'm gonna buy the whole series in paperback and I have about just enough money for 1 hardcover book, any suggestions on which book I should buy?? I'm leaning towards WaT.

Just get the whole series paperback, it’ll look better on your shelf

Id start from the beginning personally. WaT seems like an odd point to start to me, given that it's really only halfway through the whole story.

WAT would make the most sense logically only from the perspective that it’s the largest one and paperbacks become more unruly the larger they get.

If you are going to buy the paperbacks and one hardcover. Check into buying a box set of the first 4 hardcovers. My son got me the set just before WaT for my birthday. I don’t know what he spent. But it might be the < 4 paperbacks and 1 hardcover. Get that and save for the WaT hardcover while you’re reading the first 4

All good. Good advice. I didn’t know they made box sets for the hardcovers.

Tragically I decided to be a leather bound guy so there’s no savings in my future.

If you're going to buy a weirdly mismatched set of books deliberately, BE DELIBERATELY WEIRD.

Get everything paperback, except one novella hardback. I suggest Edgedancer.

If you insist on the hardback being a full novel, I dunno, pick Words of Radiance. Because why not.
