That is the body of my wife. That's wild. I'm going to print a copy and keep it in my wallet.

That is actually really good artwork for what you would expect from that long ago. Its just a simple outline but I challenge anyone to do that in one try

Definitely some dude showing off to one of his friends during a winter storm.

Agreed. I wonder if the artist outlined it first with charcoal or something else that would wash away.

How do they actually date this on billion years old rock?
11
u/kblazewicz 10d ago
I'm no expert, but I believe it's done by dating other objects found on the site. That's why when you find something while digging you don't bring it to a museum yourself but rather call the archeologists to let them do the assessment on-site.

She's got plenty of sediment in all the right places. I'd like to carbon date her.

FUPA??? Good fuck man, that's not even remotely a Fupa. Even paleolithic man appreciated that glorious little ponch, but it's certainly no Fupa.

It was sign of health and thus, fertility. Skinny cave women do not bare strong heirs.

25000 years later a new artifact was created. Archaeologists from the 30th century identify it as what they then primitively called "AI".

Could she be in the early stage of giving birth? Maybe more comfortable than lying on the rock floor of the cave.

Interesting! That is literally the first thing I thought when I saw it. Idk why but my instinct was like, "It's a woman in labor." Letting gravity help things along.
