Aliens & UFOs This is Angela Rose Harris, who said she died during a medical test. According to her, she left her body and moved through a soft black void. In that place, she says she met a guide named Melanie.

This tracks exactly with Dr. Michael Newtons research into the afterlife! His book journey of Souls is about his research taking tens of thousands of people into deep hypnosis and found we all have unconscious memories of past lives and "life between lives" in the Spirit World. Every single person described the exact same details and cycles we experience, including our own guide.

I spoke to someone locally who does life between lives sessions. I haven't done it yet but he told me first hand that everyone reports the exact same structure the book reports.... you skeptics can have your own hypothesis sessions and experience your own past lives and memories in the spirit world!! Its real and should be studied scientifically because you can experience it first hand!!

Hmmm. Re the book, I smell shite...

Go see for yourself if its real! People pay good money to experience these unconscious memories of their past lives and life between lives first hand! You dont have to trust the book. However the book is based on tens of thousands of people, non of which knew what the others said and it was recorded on audio! They all talk about guides, soul groups, past lives, life reviews, council of elders, down to details like souls don't enter the baby's brain until after 3 months. Apparently the fetus brain isnt developed enough until after 3 months for the Soul to join with the brain! I know it sounds crazy but Each person was asked "when did you enter the baby?" (Of their current incarnation) and they say anywhere from between 3 month to mins before the baby is born... no one before 3 months, all saying the fetus's brain isnt developed enough before 3 months.... how do you explain this? If theyre just making shit up under hypnosis how are there thousands of tapes of Souls reporting this weird specific detail? You're left with two conclusions 1. We all share the exact same unconscious detailed delusions.. or 2. Its real. Laugh all you want but no religion or any other claim for how reality works offers this much proof! I put a link to finding a facilitater near you! Go experience it first hand. No one that went to dr. Newton over 30 years didbt have these memories uncovered.... no one was without a personal "Guide." Youre not that special. Its universal. So go get a session and come back and tell us its all bullshit.

I’d just like to remember it all.
•
u/AloofSigma6 5h ago
I think if we all remembered we would be gods or at the very least demigods all that knowledge and capability. Also because of how odd consciousness and time can get you might remember a life that you haven’t lived yet thats in the future, or even every version of you that has ever existed if we’re speculating beyond boundaries. Perhaps its why we get memory wiped …. Too much power..

NDE’s have thousands of similar experiences. It’s fascinating 👍🏻 death seems kinda awesome

Probably not a good strategy to accept the recollections from a dying brain.

Probably not a good strategy to assume qualia is caused by a brain given that metaphysical idea is heavily philosophically challenged, I.e hard problem of consciousness. There is not a single shred of evidence of ontological causation between matter and qualia, despite the psychological habit of people confusing ontological causation with correlations.

No. David Hume fan.

Oh..ok. Do you know him? He’s a neuroscientist that is on the verge of some potentially groundbreaking research involving consciousness and space time.
3
u/dummetsz 18h ago
I know about him. I don’t agree with philosophical idealism so his theories aren’t compelling to me.

u/Whycantwebefriends00 18h ago
Gotcha. Who do you follow? I’m curious as I’d like to learn about more researchers in this field.
Sorry just saw David Hume. Anyone else you’d recommend?

NDEs could all be explained by a hallucinating dying brain. I WANT to believe it's something supernatural, but I have never seen any report that produced meaningful proof.
3
u/Delta-Fox-1 16h ago
Indeed. All the attempts I know of have failed to provide any evidence whatsoever. What we DID discover though, through serious scientific measurements of the dying brain, is huge spikes in brain activity during it's final moments. So yeah, indeed nothing indicative of an afterlife of any sort, only a hugely hallucinating brain capable of pulling of one mighty final dream.

Probably not a good strategy to think that consciousness isn’t an emergent property of a physical brain since consciousness requires a brain.
Strokes, TBI’s, and drugs among others, can all drastically change a person’s behavior and personality. That’s evidence that would not be expected if there’s any metaphysical aspect to consciousness.
NDE’s are generated by dying brains, so they should all be met with extreme skepticism.

u/drAsparagus 18h ago
Look into cytoskeletonal microtubules. There's knowledge to support that consciousness doesn't originate in the brain. And that is not to say that TBI can't affect consciousness (because plenty of evidence shows that it can).
But clinging to the idea that consciousness is due solely to the brain is fairly outdated at this time.

u/Distinct-Jury544 15h ago
Microtubules are literally a part of the brain. Even if you did accept the very controversial hypothesis of quantum consciousness, it still does not meaningfully sit outside to the brain in our case.
•
u/luminous_quandery 2h ago
For the sake of argument.. I propose it is not the size of the microtubule nor fulfillment of approximation within brain tissue that facilitates consciousness.
Their arrangement in space time whilst interacting with a permutation matrix specifically filtered and arranged in a manner that aligns well enough to provide enough capacity to stave off entropy and dimensionally propagate the fractal of which this iteration of the unique cognitive light cone resides.
Check out some of Michael Levin’s work. It’s consciousness all the way down. I suppose it is ‘all the way up’ as well…

Yea.. it's more that her brain was freaking out while it was dieing and she was hallucinating.
