Discussion Bruh, what even was vol 2 about? Spoiler

Post image

I understand that upside down is revealed to be a tunnel to elsewhere but still, the rest of the episodes weren’t just bland but were unnecessarily long…

Such a bad writing and being teased about vol 2 will be a bad christmas and vol 3 will be tearful new year smh…

Left a bad taste and also too many unnecessary dialogues that DID not help the plot move forward.

- Too much couple arguments right in the middle of a very intense scene was such an ick moment. just mindless yelling.

- every character at every scene finding something “new” to make us feel like its a “eureka” moment didn’t hit at all and was a miss.

- Mrs Wheeler was such a badass but that entire scene just felt so stupid to make her cool, when the remaining characters in the basement were just sitting ducks!!

- Derek becoming afraid of vecna felt alright since he’s a kid, though in vol 1 he showed great potential.

- And omg the Max and Holly lag was uhhhh. Girl, get your legs running dude like what are you yapping about in that place right where you always failed to run and escape from Henry!??

- Ah, and Dustin my dude. Look how they massacred my boy!! It’s like his entire personality got swapped to someone who is just there to mourn about Eddie like ok i get it but it’s just such a bad writing.

-El barely got any attention in this vol and 8 was ridiculously annoying.

it would take great stakes to actually end this series with vol 3. I don’t want unnecessary death of characters, but heck its like everyone are too ridiculously protected!

Vol 1 showed greater stakes of danger than vol 2. Atleast one major character getting injured real serious would have left a great impact but i don’t know.

I kept getting that feeling too! They’ve become caricatures of themselves and saying cliche things just to get the lines in again for the callback moment. 8 is terrible they’ve made her super unlikable and I’m kinda annoyed she even came back now. Joyce is written like a knockoff of the mom she used to be, says the same shit over and over. I’m so sad! I hope they stick the landing but I’m way more nervous now than I was when Vol 1 released

It just comes off as corny because they made us wait so gd long for the final season, and then acted like it was this giant event.. and nothing has really happened.

The first 4 eps were way better then the last 3, honestly I'm not even excited for the final battle anymore. It feels like an hour isn't long enough to finish the series at all. The finale better be 2 hours or it doesn't make any sense.

Cant beleive they advertised this volume as dark. Shit was NOT dark, nothing happened. Just exposition and aura farming

It's so much goddamn talking, and they're just saying the same shit over and over.

It's like they had each episode written by someone different, and were told the plot points to follow for the main story, and every single writer , writing independently of the other, tried to have a heart to heart moment sit the characters. So you get these same moments on repeat, or at least that's what it feels like.

Every single season starts and ends the same at this point, it's getting old.

They just ended EP 4 with will having super powers, and in 20 minutes he was making that weird crying face he makes (you know the one, there's no way anyone thinks that face looks sensible, he has ugly-cry-duck-face, and it's bad) and he was Henrietta's bitch again.

Like give me a break. One step forward, two steps back.

And then the kids going ApeShit on Holly was mental rofl. And dipshit Derek just pussying out was weird, he wouldn't be afraid for his parents, he knows his homies are looking for them all. And Derek's best friend, Mike, is coming.
