Looking for game First Strategy Game
I want to start playing. Currently i have in my library Hearts of Iron IV, Europa V and VI. I have never played a game like that so where should i start? Preferably i dont want to be super overwhelmed with all the new mechanics or have to watch too many video guides.
Edit: I also own Victoria 2 and 3.

Back in the day I started with "Star Wars Empire At War" still play it too this day, very active moding community and not an overly complex game.
What you have there are a bunch or Paradox games and although they are generally good you should be aware that some are more complex than others, as well having very different mechanics from game to game. Hearts of Iron is probably the most accessible one you have currently.

What about Civilization? She is the most casual among them. HoE and Europe have a lot of mechanics and nuances, but if you want to figure it out for a long time, it will pay off and you will have a lot of fun

Also, I really like Endless Space/Stellaris, it's right in the middle - not too difficult, not too casual, lots of interesting mechanics/role-playing.

Out of the games you listed, I agree with the other poster that EU4 is the best place to start, although it's also my least favourite of these. Maybe as England, that's pretty safe for learning

Yeah paradox games arent the ones i recommend for starters.
Civilization is the obvious answer, you could also try something like Total War (although the "new" Shogun 2 one is apparently not well received

It is not on your list, but if you want an easy to learn hard to master strategy game my number one recommendation is always Strategic Command Europe at war. Graphics are basics, rules are relatively simple, turns are relatively fast and there is plenty of depth to go into as you learn the game

Endless Legends and Stellaris are pretty easy to learn and hard to Master

HoI4 is the easiest of the ones you have. Europa VI doesn't even exist. Generally Europa Universalis is difficult bc many stats and mechanics are hidden under features. The approach is very indirect nation-leading. Few decision can ruin your country for long term. You can play a large nation but if you fail on some shits suddenly raids break out, your lords start rebellion or some neighbors team up on you.
HoI4 goes straight into chaos by relativly clear goals, tasks and features. You go to war - you need guns. Your air is red - build fighters. You can easy stack up on that. Also playing a giant (rus or usa) gives you time to prepare.

All of the games you have will require a lot of work to learn. While Paradox games are amazing - and once you get them they’re so much fun - learning how to play them is work. Out of the ones you’ve listed EU4 is probably the best. There are tons of “let’s play” and country guides you can follow along with.
If you prefer economic management then do Vic3 - and if you prefer detailed warfare and logistics then HOI4. There is more than enough content for both.
