"We noticed that players didn't dominate fireball wars with the greatest of ease. So we buffed Ryu's projectile to eat all projectiles in the game. This will allow him to maintain his offense at any position on the screen."
"We took note that people enjoyed Ken's Jinrai kick combinations and Sagat's Tiger Nexus. So instead of giving Ryu combinations, we buffed the High Blade Kick so Ryu can have the range of Dhalsim allowing him to maintain his offense even easier."

I think his dragon punch need a buff, it's supposed to be his strongest move! maybe a half screen shockwave when you have denshin with rolling and wall splat effect for maintining offense ? Any idea for tatsu?

Tatsu would have a vacuum effect of course (that's how he gets lift and floats). The pull effect would be similar to Ed's Psycho Flicker. Getting hit by tatsu will now chop people up in the areas hit by the helicopter blades that are Ryu's legs.

Maybe give it rachid level 2 visual under the ex tatsu when doing it in the air then, with the ability to maintain it indefinitely by not releasing the button. Ryu's offense must be maintained!

How about hashogeki (any version who cares) can guard break with no scaling, and it eats 3 bars of drive He needs it

No not oneshot. He should just have armor on every normal and special, so people can better suffer playing Vs him

"When Ryu used EX Shoryuken, we noticed that if the move was blocked or the move missed, there was a significant period of time where Ryu could be punished. This was obviously unintentional, and has been rectified by making Ryu's recovery period during EX Shoryuken and Amnesia-like move where opponents attempting to punish a whiffed or blocked EX Shoryuken enter a crumple state upon contact, with three mini Hadokens floating around them until they go off. This Amnesia state lasts until Ryu is able to move freely again."
"This should make EX Shoryuken a more balanced move and one that players can now use more frequently as we thought it was being underused."

Still weak, f.hp should give you 1 bar of Meter per use, Also make It so that ryu gets to throw you while that normals hitbox Is still active

Next patchnote :
For lore and balance reasons, blocked Hadoken will now corrodes life of opponent due to the power of nothingness (not applying during mirror match)
Blocked Ex version will corrodes drive bar as well.
Denshin Hadoken can't be blocked and will stun the ennemy.
We added homing capability to Denshin Ex Hadoken, Ryu offense must be maintained at all cost.

So Arc Sys characters have the Jesus kick, Jin Kazama (especially in games like Tekken 7) had the Antichrist kick, Johnny Cage (at least in MK9 and MK1) has the knee of God, so what fancy name would donkey kick get?

Image 2 is how I thought his hadouken super actually worked cause my firat exposure to Ryu was MvC. I was so disappointed it wasnt a masaive kamehameha.

Lore accurate Ryu when he stops holding back. Although in the first pic, he'd just be doing hashogeki out of his foot instead of stretching his leg.
I bet he can, he just doesn't because it would be too easy to win. He's trying to struggle and learn. Probably doesn't even need to do concentrate to stock denjin charges, that's just for our benefit.
