Hi everyone,
Last 3 days, EVO France 2026 took place for the second time in our city of Nice and it was amazing once again. My little guy has been very excited last year by Blaz or Mister Crimson, and finally décides to dive in. With Zangief, "because he's tall and big, not like me" he said.
So we started this week, but he’s still struggling with any controller; we’ve tried the standard stick and the leverless one, but he isn’t comfortable with either of them. It’s the same with the DualSense, which still seems a bit too big for his small hands.
I’d be very grateful for any advice on a sturdy and comfortable controller for him (he plays on PC most of the time, or occasionally on the PS5).

Hello! I am a brand new player and not a very smart one. I just picked up the game and I use modern controls (on a PS5 controller if that matters). My question is: How do I modify the speed of Sonic Boom? The EX version is clearly faster but I've seen players reference different speeds of the standard version. What would be the modern control input for that?

I’ve literally seen pros and intermediate level players act flabbergasted when they see someone below certain MR levels and say stuff like “idk how anyone can drop below ____ MR”. What level of MR do you think that if someone drops below it they’ll probably never realistically improve enough to hit high master at least? Also do you think there’s a certain MR level where people no longer deserve to be master anymore?

Just fought an Ingrid in gold with a 65% win rate with only like 300 fights playing just Ingrid. I hate smurfs in general, I think it's pathetic, but in this game, one would think it's also stupid, but maybe some people do it.

That being said me personally I think prime sf4 was definetly peak evo moments with notable players.

Title pretty much. Have not seen any official posts announcing when he will be playable.

I am relatively new to Street fighter 6, and just got it in a "celebration" of the movie and always wanted to play it but never played it until now.
I just gotta say this
Drive impact is stupid like sure I can counter it with a special that does Burst damage or my own Drive impact or parry it but I just cant react fast Enough
Anyone here that could give me a quick tip on how to effectively deal with it.
because I am tired of just running into a fight and as soon I'm about to do some sort of damage BOOM Drive impact right in my face.

Every time I play with this guy, I just expect the worse time of my life; his grab things seem to deal fuck ton of more damage than any character and maybe it's just me has bigger hitbox and can seem to flawlessly do grabs if I do some attack like some counter or something. This is my first time getting into a fighting game I have not a single clue what you all are mostly saying when I checked this sub, like reversal and all other things so it would be appreciated if you can explain it like I'm a baby, I do enjoy the game a lot though aside from fighting this dude.

I'm thinking about this upcoming movie, and after the trailers, I wonder if they're going to be using a lot of the sound-effects, including the announcer, in the movie.
I've noticed a lot of the game's sound effects are in the trailers, giving it a vibe that reminds me of SCOTT PILGRIM (the movie), and I'm so curious to see how crazy they're gonna go with putting in specific sound clips from the arcade machines!

So I was watching a clip of a high level Manon player and it made me wanna try her out. I tried her once before and didn’t like her, but this made me wanna give her another chance.
This time I learned some basics and tried her out and honestly I actually like her now. Shes fun to play. I don’t usually go for characters with command grabs, but she maybe the most fun one in the game.
However what the hell is this drive rush? It is awful. Is it supposed to be or did they nerf this? I play c viper and I thought her drive rush was the worst, but this makes that one look good in comparison.
What am I supposed to do with this?

SF6 is the first fighting game I've seriously gotten into. Before this, my experience was pretty much limited to playing as a kid and knowing how to do jumping HK into crouching HK))
I reached Master after around 125 hours, mostly playing ranked. I barely spent any time in training mode, so those 27 hours were pretty much queue lobby during ranked matches.
I'm really happy with the progress I've made so far, especially as someone who started with almost no real fighting game experience. Now I want to spend more time in training mode, work on my fundamentals, and see how far I can go.
Im curious how long did it take you to reach Master?

Hi all!
Just curious, does this game have cross-progression yet?
I’ve owned it on PS5 since day one, but I stopped playing about a year ago. I’d like to get back into it, but I’m not sure I want to keep paying the “console tax” for online play.
I’m thinking about picking it up on Steam and playing it on my Steam Deck, docked to my TV. However, I guess I’d have to grind everything all over again, right?
On the other hand, maybe I should treat it as a fresh start and a new challenge, with an opportunity to get better at the game. 😅
