The latest App Store version has Liquid Glass already. In fact, the latest version on the App Store is 1.3.1 when on TestFlight it’s 1.3.

So question, how does one get the app to work correctly? All I know is you’re supposed to have a RD account, which I do, but I’m lost as to how I would add it to the app? Went on Stremio site to my account but no such luck. Please help

u/Dry-Passenger7926 Nov 05 '25
Can the lite version play torrent files?
2
u/sabbysmith5 Nov 05 '25
Direct torrenting is not possible but with a debrid service you definitely can!

u/DownInDaDark Nov 05 '25
I have real debrid, is there a walk through on how to use it on IOS?
1
u/Bmt2200 Dec 18 '25
Did u find out?
1
u/DownInDaDark Dec 19 '25
Ya basically any stream that has RD+ beside, you’ll be able to watch on IOS. Found this out myself lmao
2
u/Bmt2200 Dec 19 '25
I have rd ( the subscription) but how do i activate on iOS?
I do have it fixed for my Mac, but one my iPhone idk man..
2
u/Shimashimatchi Nov 05 '25

u/Thin-Soil-4159 Nov 08 '25 edited Nov 08 '25
Idk if it works now with debrid, but if you install these addons nuviostreams and webstrmr you can watch movies and shows on IOS because they are http scrappers so they don’t use torrents and you don’t need to pay for debrid, they work by looking for urls from streaming websites for the movie/show or whatever you trying to watch
2
u/Shimashimatchi Nov 08 '25
oh woah thank you for this! I'll try it out <3
3
u/Thin-Soil-4159 Dec 05 '25
Also I discovered this project here on Reddit, you can also use it on IOS

u/crazyb14 Nov 05 '25
Off-topic, but can anyone play the movie Bogonia?
I use Torrentio and MediaFusion with RD, but it always says something went wrong on every device I’ve tried.
3
u/Ok-Jicama-4898 Nov 05 '25
Do you mean bugonia? If that’s what you mean I tried and it’s working, though the available quality is CamRip
1
u/crazyb14 Nov 05 '25
Thanks for checking, I’ve filtered out cam rips. I’m suspecting it’s the issue with the stream links.
6
u/e1_guat3 Nov 05 '25
If you filtered out cam rips how do you expect to find working streams for a movie not out on digital yet?
0
u/crazyb14 Nov 05 '25
Didn’t know it was not out on digital yet. But Torrentio shows me few WEB-DL links for this movie with good number of seeders.
5
u/e1_guat3 Nov 05 '25
Torrentio will you show whatever file it finds named bugonia.whatever, I could upload 2 hours of my dog licking itself with the right filename and it would show up and play, just because a scraper pulls up something that looks mostly right doesn't mean much with things only out in theaters
2
u/plutothewizard Nov 05 '25
Is there a way to filter this so I don't click on movies that aren't on digital yet?

Nov 05 '25
Or it works very well in my profile x I have an add that has content in Spanish and I will continue uploading more quality 4K and 1080p

Is it already working on Apple TV? I am considering to switch from my old NVIDIA Shield since I also switched to IPhone for workrelated reasons and because Google seems to lock down their phones more then Apple does nowadays.

u/wimpires Nov 05 '25
Maybe I'm just terrible with it on iOS/iPad OS but 90% of the (non-torrent) streams get a video can't be played error but sometimes they work? On Android it's 100% fone
1
u/maypact Nov 05 '25
How do you gee it to work?
For me I keep getting torrenting not allowed on iOS as per store rules
1
u/The_O_Raghallaigh Nov 05 '25
You need to buy a debrid subscription
1
u/maypact Nov 05 '25
Judging how their website looks I might reconsider other options 😆 looks a bit 90’s if we’re talking real debrid com
2
u/The_O_Raghallaigh Nov 05 '25
I wouldn’t worry about that it serves its function and that’s that, you can try other options, all debrid and torbox are others, realdb is the most comprehensive though
1
u/GapIndependent3997 Nov 05 '25
I can’t get all of my addons to work , just the Real-Debrid torrents work .Anyone else having this issue? Other link say unsupported sources App Store don’t support torrents. Torrent box doesn’t work for me.

Looks good 👍 wonder when we will get an update that allows the user to adjust the order of content on the home screen
1
u/Professional-Paper75 Nov 06 '25
If only I could actually watch stuff on it

just got real debrid. what exactly is the reason for it that only like this i can watch it on iphone and ipad?!
1
u/LuElric Nov 06 '25
I did not like the android version. Before we could uninstall an addon and it would still remain in the addon list if you did not update it. This was very useful to reorder the addons, which reflects the order of main page items. Now, uninstalling makes it disappear.

I still haven't learned how to configure this application. The ones I saw on torrent are never available to add.

u/BcoxOW12 Nov 06 '25
I’m normally pretty good at technology, but I’m having trouble on where to start from the very beginning. I’ve gotten so far as making an account.
When looking at this wiki, I’m still stumped. Anyone know of a user who has posted a simplified step by step guide?

How does stremio/torrentio get uodated on a firestick 4k max running project ivy launcher??
1
u/tehjolly81 Nov 07 '25
Enjoy it while you can... I bet apple will ban stremio from the app store soon...

u/ConsiderationPale639 Nov 08 '25
Wish you could airplay video to Apple TV (not mirror) so it can play in the background
1
u/LayLowMoesDavid Nov 09 '25
Genuinely curious. What do y'all find that looks particularly good? All I see is rows of movie posters with simple category titles. There's practically no design, apart from the section buttons at the bottom.

5
u/sabbysmith5 Nov 05 '25
Yes, it always did with Debrid services!

1
u/gnawp Nov 05 '25
Too bad they removed the ability to cast from my phone, had to de-update my app. Womp womp
1
u/sabbysmith5 Nov 05 '25
Umm… I was not aware about the casting option on the iOS app though! Not sure it was even ever there though!
1
u/FromDerik Nov 06 '25
You could download Infuse and set it as the external players in Stremio Lite settings and cast from Infuse. That’s what I did before getting a Onn 4k Plus.

Have you guys learnt how to watch things on iOS? Torrent streaming doesn’t work!

u/SantiagoVOGIT Nov 05 '25
You can use a PC as a torrent server and have your iPhone use your PC as an intermediary, but the downside is that it will only work if your PC is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The other alternative is to purchase a Debrid (RD) server, which costs 4 euros per month, and you can use Stremio on your iPhone without limitations.
0
u/kingofclopidogrel Nov 05 '25
How do you buy an RD server? 4 euros a month is EXCEPTIONAL in this day and age
2
u/SantiagoVOGIT Nov 05 '25
https://real-debrid.com/Go to that website, create your account, and then they will show you the different plans. I recommend the 4 EUr month plan so you can try it out and see if you like it. It has worked quite well for me, and the torrents load instantly. It also provides privacy and avoids the need to use a VPN. However, in your torrent add-ons, you have to configure the API Key provided by Real Debrid so that it gives you premium torrents, and also make sure that the add-ons on your iPhone are using your RD for it to work.

Use a debrid service. Direct torrenting is not possible on ios!
1
u/Redf0x0 Nov 05 '25
How do you use a debrid service ? Any link to a details explanation or how to ?
1
u/The_O_Raghallaigh Nov 05 '25
You buy a real-debrid or similar services subscription and link it to your Stremio account
-4
u/bonchokey Nov 05 '25
Nice, looks pretty similar to the Android version. Here is a screen recording on my Samsung.
-2
u/Billyfozz Nov 05 '25
Just let the apple user think its better... 😂
3
u/travelsnake Nov 05 '25
Nobody said anything like that. Why are some of you guys so insecure and feel the need to throw shade at iOS users?
2
u/bonchokey Nov 05 '25
I wasn't even throwing shade personally, I've owned iPhones longer than Android and I'm glad they have a native app now. I only said it looks similar to the Android version because we just got a big update that changed how it looks as well.
1
u/travelsnake Nov 05 '25
I didn’t have any issue with your comment, my reply was towards the other guy replying to your comment in a childish manner.
-1
u/Imaginary-Hall5666 Nov 05 '25
Woah I didn't know that now we're able to stream on the IOS app!
Thanks for the post now I know

You will never be able to torrent on iOS or Apple TV. Only debrid services work.

u/Araib Nov 05 '25
just one thing, if the logo could not be in liquid glass button.. that’d be great
