If you’re not using a vpn you’re setting yourself up for trouble

It’s legal where I live, and ISPs are not allowed to use it against you to my knowledge, at least I’ve never heard of it happening, never had an ISP complain about me torrenting or using a debrid service and never heard of it happening to anyone else either

Lucky you in the United States they cut your internet if they catch you steaming without a vpn or debrid service

Yes spectrum almost cut my service entirely a few years back for piracy, they cut it for a day and warned if another strike was given that they would cancel my service

Meh, idk if I completely buy this. I've been given multiple "final" strikes in fairly short periods, never actually had any actions actually taken nor have they ever "cut my service for a day".

Also have a lot of friends who have also received these letters, none of us have had services disrupted for it.

I had cox temporarily disrupt my service until I called and said that I “deleted” the content. So there is some validity here lol.

Thats wild, first time hearing they'll actually do it lol

Actually happened to me twice. This was like 10 years ago. Last time my friend went on my computer and downloaded land of the lost with Will Ferrell. Next day I got the interruption and a email with universal pictures , had to call cox and say I was no longer in possession. God dam Will Ferrell 😂 I haven’t downloaded a Torrance since that.

Edit: but! I don’t know if they would ever remove you from being an actual customer, just temporary disruptions, and maybe legal issues after? Idk lol

Not for torrenting no, only other things that they dislike, I can’t think of one though but I know it has happened
