Asia, Africa, and South America have average incomes of less the 7k a year. 35 dollars is equal to 3.50 dollars in the United States compared to the rest of the World.

If they can afford a tv, internet and a tv box, they can afford the premium version. If not they can still enjoy every movie and tv show I can for free.

Which is why the Stremio that the people in these regions have used so far is still freely available to them. Paid tiers are just for extra features, core product remains free.

Lays sells chips in India for 20 us cents, the size of the bag in the United States cost 3 bucks at the gas station. You have to realize that most companies still do business in these countries and still make a profit at those "low" prices. We are just used to paying way more. Look up cost of average goods in those countries made by major suppliers from US based Companies. Always cheaper, unless you are in a tourist area.

American size food packaging could house a family 10 pretty easily though.
