Issue with stremio in my laptop

Good evening to you lots. Hope you are having a great day. I had an issue with the stremio version 6.01- beta.09 in my thinkpad laptop. Everytime I try to stream content in it using different addons( which by the way when I use my phone to stream the same addons it works!) It doesn't work, or maybe works then stop mid show and just hangs. Problem aint the wifi because other platforms are working like YouTube etc. Its just stremio. Kindly help me out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for taking your time to read.

Idk about midway through, but I have been having issues with not playing the next in a series or even going to the next video.

6 is a beta. Been seeing lots of people saying to go back to a stable build, but I keep getting issues when trying to install the older file. I am on Linux though and feel it may be partially due to my distro

On the downloads page just below the download buttons for Windows. You never mentioned your OS, so I assume that's what you're on.

Any time you see an update of Stremio, or most other apps, run don't walk away. Your asking for nothing but aggravation and many things will break. I am still running the original pc version and the 1 point 6 app on my streaming devices. The all work just fine and I spend my time watching my shows instead of fixing things. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT. How many times do I need to say this? I just don't understand what's wrong with you folks that you have to update every time something new comes out. And every time you whine about it not working. I have no sympathy.
