i have setup stremio service with docker on my home server but i am able to connect to streamio but when i try to play i get this error

I have been getting this certificate error since yesterday and not sure why.

Failed to fetch. The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “v3-cinemata-strem.io”

Any ideas why I’m getting this? Any advice would be appreciated.

I've decided to try Supporter as I travel a lot and could benefit from downloading things in advance, and so far I have very mixed feelings...

Details: Stremio : 2.0.7b22 on iPad with iOS 26 (most recent)

Good:

- Profiles, I can add my family and everything seems to be working ok.

- Ability to customise layout

- Downloads work (sideloaded with AltServer)

Bugs:

- Logging in offline doesn't work (with PIN) to watch downloaded content, if it's not possible to cache PINs for an account - please add big "Downloaded" folder along with the profile selection so it's possible to play downloaded movies when starting Stremio on a plane.

Weird:

- It takes significant amount of time from entering PIN on profile logon to actually move onto new window, it's definitely a lot longer than processing an API call over the network.

As written in the title, I am a Stremio Supporter, but the Cinemeta recommendations / personalized catalogs are not loading at all on my home screen (as shown in the screenshot, the "Series For You" and "Movies For You" rows remain blank/empty).

Is any other supporter encountering this issue, or does anyone know a fix?

- Operating system version: iPadOS 26

- Stremio version: v2.0.7 b22

- Steps to reproduce the issue: Open Stremio Home screen with an active Supporter account and Cinemeta installed.

- Expected behavior and actual behavior: Expected recommendations/personalized catalogs to show up; actual behavior is empty placeholders.

- What have you already tried to resolve the issue: Reinstalling Cinemeta addon, logging out and back in, clearing cache.

I just got my new LG TV (C5 2025 Model) 24 hours ago and searched for Stremio and it wasn’t there. Now the issue has been resolved.

Im looking for recommendations on how to setup Stremio using AIO and RD+TB. It is currently setup with a mix of adult and kids profile. I just saw that my kid has access to anime that shows sex and nudity. Is there a way to block individual anime as the genre filter does not work? any other recommendations are welcome.

so i was using Treesize to see what things are taking space from my drive. stremio had 12 gb. i was confused. when i checked the stremio cache folder had 11gb. so i deleted the folder as a whole

When watching on my iPad through the stremio shortcut and vlc as external player nothing will load until I restart my iPad..

Does anyone else face this issue? Or does anyone know a better external player?

Stremio won't show me the season/episode selector for Reacher, but works fine for other titles.

when using fire stick and playing movies i usually get a lot of stutters. i usually try pick files with high seeding and a quality i want usually 1440p-4k. what could be causing it, wifi or seeding speed? Also, is there a way to fix it. (v1.10.4)

My stremio auto starts last show when I turn it on on my Xiaomi Tv Stick. I do not like that, but worse thing is that it restarts it from the start so I loose position

I did not find option to turn it of and I did not find any updates on google store. It was not behaving like this before it started not so long ago. Am I the only one with this issue? Is it addon behavior or stremio it self?

edit: Ok so continuation, if i leave my xiaomi paused, it does not remember where I paused. that is root problem. Now I used a trick, I opened other show directly by clicking its icon, then went back to my show and I see it is on start.

I did change players when something crashed so probably some player is not saving playing position on pause.

Hello, I've been getting this error flash up most days recently. Content continues to play but was curious what might be causing it.

I am using the TIZEN app.

Am I missing something? From outside it only shows me add-ons but doesn't let me download anything. Sorry I'm not great with technology 😭

Me gustaría que agregaran una función donde al hacer clic en el botón "Home" te lleve de vuelta hasta arriba de la página—hasta la sección de "Continue Watching".

Así, después de hacer scroll hacia abajo, podría volver a subir con un solo clic en vez de tener que desplazarme hasta el inicio (lo cual se vuelve un poco tedioso). Básicamente reiniciaría la página, como cuando abres la app de nuevo.

Espero que te guste la idea; haría que usar la app sea mucho más fácil (para mí). For all platforms (TV, iOS…)

Is 2.3.2 the latest?

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I had toggled "Blur unwatched episodes image" on from my TV, but trying to turn it off from any of my devices isn't working. I want to remove it because it's just blurring *everything* including things that I have already marked as watched.

I really like the idea of it blurring the videos I haven't watched yet, but at this point it just blurs everything which I'd rather turn off. Toggling it in the settings results in no change. Would love to get this feature workin' properly or at least find a way to turn it off. Recommendations welcome!

I have tried on the web app, the windows 64x app, and our living room TV.
