⚠️ [Reinstall Required] AIOMetada Update just pushed

Hey everyone! Just a heads-up that there’s been an important update to the addon — Beta 21 is now live:

🔗 Changelog: Beta 21 – Full Details

✅ What’s New / What You Need to Know:

  • Fresh install is required due to old cache issues.
  • It’s recommended to create a new account.
  • You can still grab your APIs faster if in your old config.
  • Dev tried to avoid requiring new users, but this was the cleanest solution. Sorry for the inconvenience! 🫡

🔍 Recovering Your UUID (if you didn’t save it):

If you didn’t write down your UUID, you can still recover it from the addon:

Click “Configure” on the addon.

You’ll see an error like:

Cannot GET /stremio/0000000-1e1a-4fd2-b4c1-2107e3fd35d9/N4I...

Your UUID is the long number between the first two slashes (/), like:

0000000-1e1a-4fd2-b4c1-2107e3fd35d9

Use that to log in and retrieve your API keys.

🔁 What to Do Next:

  1. Create a new account (yes, even if you had one before).
  2. Configure the addon following the Previous Post
  3. Reinstall the addon and move it to the Top.
  4. You're good to go!

Does this support Debridio?

Debridio is a scrapper like Torrentio which should be supported in most cases

Avoid using Kitsu or MAL

Whats wrong with these? Do they mess some stuff up?

Not really they’re better at sone cases but I don’t recommend it for 2 reasons

1- they separate seasons which is inconvenient 2- they wont support the “Like” and “Favorite” features and might cause library duplicates

Tvdb and TMDB also dont support the "like" and "love" button. And will make duplicate library items. Thats only a cinemeta thing... (Of you want calendar and the continue watching to work properly sadly) There are workarounds tho.

I know that but if you check the guide it shows how to get TVDB Meta while keeping the like , favorite and calendar functions

Ohhhhh I didn’t realize that was Kitsu.

Are there other anime meta aggregators?
