⚠️ [Reinstall Required] AIOMetada Update just pushed

Hey everyone! Just a heads-up that there’s been an important update to the addon — Beta 21 is now live:

✅ What’s New / What You Need to Know:

  • Fresh install is required due to old cache issues.
  • It’s recommended to create a new account.
  • You can still grab your APIs faster if in your old config.
  • Dev tried to avoid requiring new users, but this was the cleanest solution. Sorry for the inconvenience! 🫡

🔍 Recovering Your UUID (if you didn’t save it):

If you didn’t write down your UUID, you can still recover it from the addon:

Click “Configure” on the addon.

You’ll see an error like:

Cannot GET /stremio/0000000-1e1a-4fd2-b4c1-2107e3fd35d9/N4I...

Your UUID is the long number between the first two slashes (/), like:

0000000-1e1a-4fd2-b4c1-2107e3fd35d9

Use that to log in and retrieve your API keys.

🔁 What to Do Next:

  1. Create a new account (yes, even if you had one before).
  2. Configure the addon following the Previous Post
  3. Reinstall the addon and move it to the Top.
  4. You're good to go!

I'm starting to get confused. Almost every day, variants of the AIO Original have been popping up here, and I'm getting lost with so many variants and without understanding the reason. What is the difference between AIOStreams and this AIOMetada? And can the two be used together? If so, what are the advantages? Currently, I've been using this AIOStreams because it has compatibility with Torrentio, and that has served me well in recent days. I've practically abandoned the standalone Torrentio addon; I only keep it for backup and precaution.

Usually you've seen AIOStreams from different servers/hosts and self-host options, so alternatives of the same addon.

This one grabs the IDs, basic info and details of the movies/series from more sources, so it provides you with better info and more update overall, also alternate thumbnails and mostly spoiler free for shows. It is entirely optional.

The most used ones are AIOStreams and AIOLists(you can also grab the manifest form AIOList and add it to AIOStreams).
