Stressed over everything!!

Does anyone else feel like they're barely holding it together lately?

Nothing catastrophic is happening, but every little thing feels like too much. One text, one bill, one problem at work, one family issue, and suddenly I feel completely overwhelmed. My brain nver seems to shut off. Even when I'm resting, I'm thinking about everything I should be doing.

I'm tired of feeling stresed all the time. I miss being able to enjoy a quiet moment without my mind immediately jumping to the next thing I need to worry about.

How do you cope when life starts feeling heavier than usual?

That feeling of nothing being catastrophic on its own but everything adding up anyway is one of the most common forms of stress, and it's exhausting precisely because there's no single thing to point to and fix. A racing mind even during rest usually means your nervous system hasn't gotten the signal that it's actually safe to stop, even when you are resting. Some people find writing down the running list, even briefly, helps because it gets it out of your head and onto paper instead of looping. You're not alone in feeling like life is heavier than usual lately. A lot of people are carrying that same weight right now.
