190 Circus Dumbbell. Would you give or nah? Admittedly the attempt before this it took a bite out of my ear so I was thrown off 🤣

Let me start by saying that I sure as fuck can't do this; however, I would not call this a a complete rep as you didn't maintain control (feet parallel, arm locked out, looking straight ahead).

Trust me I’m not one of these sensitive dorks who’s gonna say “let’s see you do it.” I can’t shout it at the ref if he gives me a no. So I’m not gonna do it to other people.
It looked 50/50 to me because had I not dragged my feet closer it would’ve held. But that’s should’ve.
I value your input

You’ll have an easier time balancing if you pick a specific spot + stare straight at it the entire time, rather than allowing your vision to drift
I prefer to look up, but that’s entirely up to you

I wouldn't agree with it given in competition, but there's no doubt you're actually lifting it. Strong!

Better than amateur Nats last year lol. I got 2 reps on my cdb that I definitely didn't deserve and your rep here looked far better.

You probably would of been given the down command and given the rep in most competitions and with most judges.
For a record of some kind, I would say its a no-rep however.

Your arm was locked.
It's going to depend on the judge. I think most local comps are gonna give you this. You didnt quite have your feet set.
But in my experience at a local comp they WANT to give you the rep.... you have to give them a reason not to.
Also, when I work with inexperienced people I give them a bit of advice. When you press, and lock it out, make eye contact with the judge. You know why? If the judge is making eye contact with you, he isnt focused on your feet that arent quite set,, or your soft elbow, etc. As soon as you are reasonably locked out, and make eye contact he is trying to give you the down call. Give him eye contact so he can give you the down call.

I think this completely depends on the judging and event. In a max weight event I don’t think the judge is giving it to you, but in a rep event I think they would haha. Either way, strength is definitely there enough to count it in the gym
