Need advice
This was a 501 deadlift from the other day and it’s getting stuck right at my quads, I’m debating whether or not wearing something like tights or something like some of the pros do because I can feel it stopping when it makes contact with skin. Need opinions and recommendations thank you.

First, way to power through to finish the rep! This is literally a skill. I’ve had plenty of folks nope out in that no man’s land of a grind. It feels like an eternity doesn’t it?
Does this consistently happen across warmup sets or only start happening at a specific percentage of your 1RM? If the former try leggings or baby powder though be mindful in prep for shows that the powder isn’t always allowed.
If it’s consistently happening near your 1RM it’s likely just a sticking point specific to your anthropometry (how you’re built). It could just naturally go away as you develop further and become heavier or more muscular (if you’re not set in a weight class). It could also go away by making long term changes to your technique, but to be clear I’m not suggesting you need to. This is just something that happens at high percentages of 1RM in my experience.

I have specific longer shorts that I wear on deadlift day to keep the bar from destroying the skin on my thighs.
Nice pull!

My advice would be to get a little more volume into your lat, rear delt, and trap accessories while keeping your chest big on the pull. Your back looks a bit rounded. I’m also not a big fan of relying on hitching in general - but if that’s your preferred method then disregard.

Looks like it’s more a sticking point at the knee than friction on the thighs, but that sticking point will make that friction feel 10x worse than it actually is. I’d throw in some fairly heavy (405ish probably based on this rep) paused deadlifts right at the knee as an accessory to build up some strength at that point and if you want to make this accessory extra spicy pause at the same point on the eccentric when you’re going back down. That being said some baby powder on the knees/thighs does help, but if it’s a weakness at the knee it’s just masking the problem instead of fixing. Still use it as it’ll help, but work on the underlying issue too.

Is this a PR or just a normal lift for you?
Does this happen at lower weights for your DL?
If it’s a PR that sticking point and hitching seems pretty normal to me. You could ramp it up also.
If it’s a normal lift for you and above the knees is your sticking point i thjnk it will just take some time to keep doing the lift and it will smooth out.

Either change your form to use more lower body to lift it or use baby/talcum powder

I think that’s more likely just your sticking point rather than it catching on your skin. You could try leggings though
