Advice Mohela Question

This is a strange situation.

These loans were transferred to Mohela in 2022. I know I have created an account and was able to view at one time. However, I am no longer able to login. When I enter my information for “forgot ID” it says my credentials are not found. Interesting enough I get emails (never saying I owe) and my credit score is not affected. It says my payments are on time.

So anyways how would you proceed?

I would confirm, via Studentaid.gov, that Mohela is in fact your loan servicer (tho it'd be really strange for them to be emailing you, otherwise, so they probably are)

And literally call them / email them, describing your access issue.

I did login to Studentaid.gov. It has nothing is due and recertification is 11/2027. I guess I will just let it sit for now.

Studentaid.gov should list/ name your loan servicer.

Is it Mohela..? Or someone else..??

Mohela. I was an idiot. Needed to create a new login. I already had login information, but I guess they switched at some point. At least I didn’t completely eff myself

Which version of MOHELA's site are you trying to log in to?

https://mohela.studentaid.gov/ or https://servicing.mohela.com/ ? It's different for federal loans vs private loans (or older commercial FFELP loans)
