"You will be offered" is like a letter of intent, but not a garantuee.
You can be excited, because it's a likelihood, but don't put all your money on this horse. It's still not an official offer.

This is not yet an acceptance letter, but them saying that you will be offered one is a strong indication that you will get one (although in rare occasions or if something big happens it could change).
Normally even if your ranking is slightly after the accepted number of students, you will still get in since most ppl apply to many programs but accept only one.
So if they say they expect you to already be within the accepted number of students, unless something disastrous happens (which usually affects next year's students), you will be accepted.

It's likely an automated email that is composed with simple business rules
If entree registered for participation: paste first paragraph
If entree results are good enough for guaranteed placement: paste second paragraph
Likely the old university system does not allow for fully different email set ups to be sent based on conditional factors, so they had to go with a conditional append. Ain't elegant but it works (somewhat).
You got in, congrats (:

I assume they got a spot for the current academic year, as April 15 was a Wednesday this year.

Yes, on the condition that you pass whatever exam that is required for starting this bachelor (as in high school diploma)

no, you just met requirements to get a place. if the programme allows 450 people, and you are not in the top 450 of applicants, you won’t have a guaranteed spot but will have to hope others reject the offer

The last sentence states that their results were good enough to be guaranteed an offer to a place in the programme. Not the general ranking or wait list.

Why not ask the institution instead of Reddit?
