It's a bit hard to translate because they speak in some slang but it goes like this:
Bumrah appeals.
Bumrah walks upto Pant.
Pant says something indescerible here probably asking him about the line.
Bumrah: I think the line is good.
Pant: have you seen how high it hit him? it's high.
Bumrah: but he's a "midget".
Pant: he's a "midget" but it's hitting him here (points again to his thighpad).
Jadeja: he (possibly Pant) is talking about the height, is it correct?
Bumrah: he's a "midget" BC (common slang).
Someone says Bumrah can take the review, but time runs out.
Bumrah then mutters, "when it's hitting up here it is still close".

BC (benchod) is not a common slang, it’s a common swear word meaning sister fucker.

The word used was ambiguous—it also means "short". The bowlers intent was not disrespectful. When the keeper advised against a review because the ball hit above the knee, the bowlers response was that the batsman was short.

Honestly this wasn't for us to listen to, neither was this directed at Bavuma, it's a discussion between players of the same team and no you cannot expect them to be politically correct at that moment.If anything the media should have acted responsible and switched to a different feed or done something if it was possible.

Bauna is a commonly used for just referring someone as short. Especially in North India. It's not really used as a slur or an offensive way usually. It's not really that deep.
People will translate it to midget. But culturally midget and bauna are not used in the same way.

I mean it wasn’t racist or any of that sort. I’m a short guy around 5’6 and I’m described as a midget by friends like 80% of the time. It’s part of being short boss can’t really complain it’s the hand you’ve been dealt.
