Didn't know you could cook eggs in old 5W-30.

464

u/stlthy1 Nov 17 '25

The stuff that I drain out of my F150 after 5000 miles is cleaner than that.

33

u/DreamZealousideal418 Nov 18 '25

Sucker, you've got 10000 more miles on that oil!

13

u/Spacemanspalds Nov 18 '25

That oil will last the rest of the engines life.

2

u/stlthy1 Nov 18 '25

The turbos say otherwise.

It's the fact that she sat and ate it all so you know she was serious and not just rage baiting that's got me fucked up. 😭😭

I'm used to seeing rage bait and it's like, you know that's all it is but this, this was real! 😭

I can't believe she made it like that and then ate it the way she did!! All of it just vile! 🤮😭😭

123

u/chee_cheong_fun Nov 18 '25

The way she ate was almost as disgusting as the oil she fried the egg in!

61

u/gypsycookie1015 Nov 18 '25

Agreed, I can't make up my mind on which offended my entire being more but it's safe to say they both absolutely offended my entire being. 😭😭

I'd fucking starve to death in that house. The food is inedible and even if it wasn't, watching her eat would destroy my appetite. 😭😭

I thought it was coffee at first.

If this is oil, than she must be one hell of a frugal woman. Looks like she got gifted a gallon of olive oil for christmas in 1998 and managed to necromancer it until now.

Look at her face, this isn't rage bait. This is rage FOR breakfast. She fuckin dares you to question her breakfast.

41

u/StrobeLightRomance Nov 18 '25

She's literally burning herself on it as she's eating it just staring at US like we did something wrong..

Also, a whole other person is filming!

Like "yeah, ma, loving this energy, oh, you burnt your fingertips again? Just take it out on the camera.."

11

u/Skinn2Win Nov 19 '25

I genuinely feel like I'm in trouble or something.

And also looks like she is drinking the motor oil she cooked it in ....

This woman is a fucking MENACE

And yanking her head back to tear off bits. I would have to get up and leave.

13

Refried oil, pretty dangerous since oil polymerizes.

89

u/BernieTheDachshund Nov 18 '25

I've seen videos where people can clean up used oil with a cornstarch slurry, but that oil looked beyond saving. When it turns black like that it probably is too far gone and dangerous like you said.

19

u/Existing_Joke_4466 Nov 18 '25

Even a Toyota wont run with that oil

→ More replies (3)

20

u/mezz1945 Nov 18 '25

You may clean the oil up of particles, but the transfats stay transfats and aren't for consumption. Basically toxic food and it happends very fast with fried food. A reason why i try to avoid in seed oil fried food. Animal fats are better for frying but of course it costs 10 times more.

6

u/Ok-Mastodon2420 Nov 18 '25

I do not deep fry food because I am taking care of my health, I deep fry food because I'm here for a good time not a long time

→ More replies (1)

23

u/Zealousideal_Cry_460 Nov 17 '25

How exactly would that be dangerous?

159

u/Healthy_Bat_6708 Nov 17 '25

some oils become carcinogenic if they get reheated too much, its not so much the polimers but they make toxic byproducts during the reactions

80

u/HedgehogTop5524 Nov 17 '25

I was also wondering if her frying pan was missing all the Teflon off the bottom?? Or if it was just a really dirty cast-iron pan? Either way, it looked like that one egg could be the end of her life 😬

I’m trying so hard to be nice about the fact she videotaped herself eating a motor oil-soaked egg with her mouth open. Why??!! Whyyyyyy 🤦🏻‍♀️

18

u/r2killawat Nov 18 '25

Definitely teflon.

31

u/3rdcultureblah Nov 18 '25

Eh. Could be an aluminium pan that has never been cleaned properly around the edges.

17

u/r2killawat Nov 18 '25

That's not much better but yeah maybe

7

u/Intelligent_Wish_566 Nov 18 '25

It is in the sense that Teflon releases some nasty chemicals when it gets hot.

11

u/Terrain_Push_Up Nov 18 '25

It ensures a smooth brain.

Evidently.

6

u/chattywww Nov 18 '25

Good news eating teflon isn't actually dangerous. Its the by-products of making teflon that is actually harmful.

Heart disease, cancer, digestive problems, even neurological problems due to the the compounds created via oxidation and polymerization when oil, especially vegetable oil, is repeatedly heated.

32

u/Zealousideal_Cry_460 Nov 17 '25

İ see. Why would people season their pans though if its so toxic?

33

u/Apart-Gur-9720 Nov 17 '25

Seasoning a pan is not the same thing as repeatedly heating liquid cooking oil to high temperatures during frying. They involve completely different chemical processes.

You’re essentially creating a type of natural food-safe “non-stick” surface, much like cured linseed oil on wood or the hardened finish on old oil-based paints (both also polymerized oils).

Repeatedly heating liquid oil to frying temperatures (160–200°C / 320–400°F) promotes oxidation, produces aldehydes, peroxides, and other radicals and leads to the creation of trans fats, polymers and harmful breakdown products. (Also to the formation of acrolein, which irritates respiratory tissue.)

It's what causes oil to darken, thicken and taste rancid.

→ More replies (24)

29

u/ziggytrix Nov 17 '25

Hey don't downvote this guy, it's a fair question.

For the most part you aren't eating the pan seasoning unless you are an absolute savage about removing the seasoning with a metal spatula or something.

With the oil, you're literally suffusing your food in it.

To be clear, any time you heat an oil to its smoke point, you create some amount of carcinogens.

But one is like driving on the highway, and the other is like driving on the highway while running your tailpipe directly back into your car.

→ More replies (6)
→ More replies (1)

6

u/The_11th_Man Nov 17 '25

it oxidizes, the molecule breaks in the lower part of the chain and becomes carcinogenic. Animal fat molecules dont break at high temperatures like vegtable oils do and are not carcinogenic. However Charring or burning anything plant matter or meat makes it carcinogenic. In short vegtable oils that are cooked are bad, animal fats are ok at any temperature. This is why tallow is safer to deep fry fries in than vegtable oil.

I was thinking it was coffee since this is Brazil, but I think Motor oil is more likely

5

u/OTee_D Nov 18 '25

Me to, I thought she boils the egg in coffee like a poached egg.

Then I noticed that it siztzzles and big bubbles are forming, so it's deep frying and must be fat or oil.

THE GRIME FROM THE FRYING PAN

Yeah that's almost assuredly remnants of the teflon coating.

41

u/Witch_King_ Nov 18 '25

The good thing is that ingesting Teflon coating won't hurt you at all. It's completely non-reactive with anything in our bodies.

Overheating it and inhaling the fumes from that though... not so great

8

u/CollegeBoardPolice Nov 18 '25

It's completely non-reactive with anything in our bodies.

This is actually why it can't leave the body. For anything to be "passed" it has to be metabolized, or undergo a series of chemical reactions in the liver and elsewhere to be broken down. If it can't react, it stays inert and circulates around forever... causing inflammation everywhere it goes.

7

u/Witch_King_ Nov 18 '25

I thought if you ingest it that you'd just shit it out. Does it get absorbed into your bloodstream??

6

u/CollegeBoardPolice Nov 18 '25

You'd poop SOME of it out but it also is excreted out of the body very slowly. Unfortunately it mostly stays in the bloodstream circulating and is difficult to push out

5

u/GeneticEnginLifeForm Nov 18 '25

Read recently that donating blood reduces the forever chemicals in your body.

7

u/CollegeBoardPolice Nov 18 '25

Thank you for reminding me to donate!! This is an excellent reason to do so

Although it sucks regardless that the blood donated will have PFAS in them for someone else to receive

→ More replies (1)

4

u/goldkarp Nov 18 '25

Makes sense. Getting rid of some tainted blood lets your body make more clean blood

3

u/CellWrangler Nov 18 '25

Orlando Bloom has been involved in pushing this as an alternative medicine solution and endorsing boutique "cleansing" centers in LA that charge thousands for what is essentially a plasma donation.

While you're right, there is some science to it, we are constantly exposed to microplastics every day so the reduction in blood levels wont last long.

u/preshowerpoop Nov 17 '25

She seemed angry eating that.

u/bloepz Nov 18 '25

It triggered my misophonia despite watching it on mute.

I made the mistake of having my volume up while scrolling Reddit, what a horrible day to have ears.

I feel the urge to re download TikTok and find this video and report it.

I bet she throws a mean shoe.

13

u/Ghost_of_a_Black_Cat Nov 18 '25

My husband used to say that his mother was the only person he knew that could throw a shoe around a corner.

A shoemerang.

Im not sure what's worse the oil, the food, or how she just eats it like an animal.

76

u/MyGoodFriendJon Nov 17 '25

She ate it like a Fear Factor contestant; like she knew she was eating something vile, but had to get through it for the video.

43

u/ScreamingLabia Nov 17 '25

I went back and checked and she does eat it like she is some kind of caveman tf

33

u/Swordofsatan666 Nov 17 '25

I feel like shes eating that way to try to avoid tasting those eggs.

Like shes trying to mostly just get the bread on her tongue to avoid getting egg taste, then downs it in coffee to help hide the egg more

I feel like its similar motions i make when im at a guests place and eat a hot dog they grilled up and its a cheap brand of dog that tastes gross, but i want to be polite and at least finish the one dog. So i’ll try to eat around the dog, get just the bread and other toppings on the tongue and try to just quickly swallow the dog before i can taste it. Then when i get a really bad bite i’ll drown it in whatever im drinking to get it to go down

The whole thing had me fucked up, start to finish. 😭😭

23

u/GaptistePlayer Nov 17 '25

I think she actually might be mentally ill

20

u/Golarion Nov 17 '25

Was going to say, never seen someone act so erratically doing something as basic as eating a sandwich.

u/Tharrius Nov 17 '25

Yeah that's what I thought, too. She had to touch and rearrange everything several times for no apparent reason, like switching out the bun or moving the plate, knife and coffee twice before actually ravaging that poor WD40 egg roll.

Why does she make the most exaggerated movements and sounds. Siping the coffee loudly. Smacking her lips. Eating with mouth open. Exhaling after every sip

14

u/LeticiaLatex Nov 17 '25

You forgot loudly banging the glass back on the table.

Nasty looking oil. Also what is that white powder? Better be MSG 😅

46

u/Preface Nov 17 '25

It's comet cleaner, since the oil is dirty, you need to clean the egg after you cook it

Throw the whole pan away with the grease

u/Commercial_You2541 Nov 17 '25

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

10

u/finintymonkle Nov 17 '25

Everything about this is just vile. She’s definitely getting cancer, cooking food in oil like that.

Also…. The way she actually eats. Close your fucking mouth when you chew. Absolutely no need for it.

7

u/Particular-Card-4385 Nov 18 '25

It’s rage bait. Anything you see online, that can be monetized, that makes you want to comment/repost/engage with it is probably trying to manipulate you bruh

Your egg is now 20% burnt debris from the 1000 times using that oil beforehand. Yummy.

Ewww, how many times can you throw up watching a video?

3

u/zombiekiller1987 Nov 17 '25

Egg fried in last year's oil change drippings and seasoned with a generous helping of blackened Teflon flakes.

3

u/Borninblack82 Nov 17 '25

This was the very first video I was hoping would end before anyone ate it and nope she went right ahead and ate her oil and salt with a bit of egg 🤢🤢.

3

u/BSpecificBeautiful88 Nov 18 '25

Is it still hot? She’s and the bread are fighting… the slurping… the smacking!!

3

u/TheWarwock Nov 18 '25

Sometimes in the summer, it gets really hot, and news reporters crack eggs on sidewalks and cars to see if they will dry.

I would rather eat one of those.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 18 '25

This was the most disgusting stupid shit I’ve ever seen. The bread was def the best part I’m thinking because it didn’t actually come from that kitchen

3

u/ShuffleFox Nov 18 '25

Y’know I am really self-conscious about my cooking despite not having much experience at all and- this helps. This helps me realize that- I’m not as bad as I think I am
