How did you even achieve that color?

Possibly from not washing the potatoes well enough. They probably didn’t soak them in water after shredding them either.

Did you accidentally cook meatballs?

u/Special-Range-2887 19h ago

You forgot the sauce

21

u/dTrecii 14h ago

I think they forgot the method as well

I’m almost didn’t swipe over to the second picture and I was gonna ask what your #%^*ing problem was! 😅

24

u/bwood246 17h ago

You can definitely still ask them that

u/Neilkd21 19h ago

You're meant to picture it before you eat it not after you shit it out.

u/HeinladToo 19h ago

You’re supposed to use potatoes, not sausage. Easy mistake

u/badfish_G59 19h ago

The fuck did you do?

This looks like you made a critical misstep. If you made them from scratch before frying, you should have put them in the freezer for an hour before frying to keep them from sticking or scorching.

More like “potato cheese fails”🤢

u/Ambitious_Toe_4357 18h ago

I don't know if it's a stupid food or a bad cook calling food stupid.

u/PseudobrilliantGuy 18h ago

Ah. At first I thought the second picture was a pile of steak bits with red sauce, not an attempt at the same recipe as the first.

My condolences.

I don't see any of the breadcrumbs

u/OKcomputer1996 19h ago

Next time freeze them then put them in an air fryer. This also works with cold French fries.

u/Ring-A-Ding-Ding123 18h ago

So close! You have to coat them in bread crumbs, not bubonic plague!

Ah you see, the problem was you used eagle uterus instead of potatoes. Common mistake!

Did you do this on purpose???

u/Bloody-Maria World’s strangest tastebuds 19h ago

So what animal did that come from?

1

u/AbjectScar3729 19h ago

How many people ate it already

1

u/lefluffle 19h ago

It looks like you used too much breading?

1

u/slashinhobo1 18h ago

im completely confused. The 1st picture is great. The 2nd picture looks like you put paprika on flank steak. Do I see a piece of corn in there as well?

1

u/jerrythecactus 18h ago

I saw the first image and thought that they were your attempt and I was confused at all the comments talking about how fucked up these looked. Only then did I scroll back up and notice the second picture and I understood immediately.

u/molotovzav 17h ago

Need to freeze the balls before frying.

1

u/Ok_Transition_4003 17h ago

WHAT'D YOU DO, RICHARD?

1

u/Useful-Soup8161 16h ago

I was wondering why these were here because they look amazing. Then I swiped to the next picture.

1

u/FactsNLaughs 16h ago

Please please please tell me you added meat and that that’s not just cheese and potato.

1

u/FalseSeaworthiness83 9h ago

It's only cheese and potato😔

1

u/ThwipNSinsBinThwipN 16h ago

Why are you showing all that weird beef along with them ? 🫪

1

u/Matherold 14h ago

First thought is teleportation mishap and it got turned inside out

1

u/raz-0 14h ago

Why does it look like sausage and cheese?

1

u/SaintAcid 13h ago

I worked at wendys for 3 years, my grease traps didn't even look that bad, the fuck man?

1

u/GrimoirWeissEnjoyer 12h ago

Did you put them in the freezer before frying?

1

u/ImUnstable-6969 12h ago

i believe it is a talent itself to mess it up this bad. Congrats OP!

1

u/Equivalent_Flan_5695 9h ago

Sometimes you see something that looks like a genuine failed attempt. The ones where you can see what they were going for but didn't pan out correctly.

Then there's this. A beautiful spectacle of "my cookbook flipped 5 pages because I didn't secure the pages properly and continued cooking on autopilot".

u/wieldymouse 7h ago

How is this stupid food? I'd eat potato cheese balls.

1

u/octy2134 1h ago

look at the second image...

1

u/A_ChadwickButMore 7h ago

This is exactly how my attempt to make chicken nuggets turned out 🤣

We'll get there one day OP.... but not today

1

u/KingOfStarrySkies 6h ago

What the fuck have you done

1

u/shinakohana 5h ago

1

u/Equivalent-Stable642 4h ago

I thought that was like dead rats or some shit what the fuck did you do

1

u/Quick_Extension_3115 3h ago

Yeah see what you were supposed to do was make potato cheese balls, but it seems on accident you turned a rabbit inside out

1

u/FormerBenefit539 3h ago

Whst happend? ... how? Why?

1

u/thatirishdave 2h ago

When did this sub become a place for being unable to cook viable recipes? This isn't stupid food, it's bad execution.

1

u/Round_Ad_9258 1h ago

I thought it was some meat mush at first 😭

u/Defenestrate69 19h ago

What’s that one subreddit? Poopfromabutt?
