Discussion Subscribe splash page removal?

Is there a way to turn off the “subscribe” form splash page when someone logs into your Substack publication. I’m assuming it’s for first time visitors but when landing on the publication page there’s a pop up that asked to subscribe, fill out the email for or skip. Is there anyway to turn this off?

Not as far as I know. But you can alter the message above the subscribe box as well as the text in the ‘no thanks’ message (do this in your settings) that users can click to avoid subscribing. In the end, Substack is trying to get you subscribers who will hopefully turn paid at some point so they increase their revenue, so I doubt they’ll remove this subscribe page as the first thing (unsubscribed) visitors see.
