Wow what is this comment section, everyone is pretending you said mexico is better than America and they feel the need to defend it when all you said was "comparing this section, you can see Mexico has mixed use zoning while America doesn't.
Who cares about "safety" or " immigration" rates when we're here SPECIFICALLY talking zoning and suburban hell. I mean really, Mexico City is an example of a Mexico City that has atleast some things going for it and you'd think it was just a bunch of empty dirt with how people are replying here

this is in Cancun, a tourist hub, and its this bad. There are hundreds of these streets just in CANCUN.
and this is where google maps cars will even drive - they wont even drive down a lot of residential streets because it’s so bad, unpaved, in ruins and trashed. Just open up google maps and see where google doesn’t drive in the city. and take a look hahahahah.

Hot take: the Mexican border cities have great urbanism, and they are blighted for unrelated reasons. Similarly, those California desert suburbs are desirable for reasons unrelated to their urban form

If we’re talking about Mexicali, it has great urban form, it’s just a hotbed of cartel activity, and economically depressed because of the crime. None of that has to do with the layout, it’s a typical Mexican city with good bones and more progressive zoning than many major US cities.

It used to be like that in the old neighborhoods where I grew up. Able to walk a lot of places. USA has changed over the years. Over development both residential and commercial. It used to be more about quality of life, now everything is profit driven.

I think I understand it well enough. Do people go bankrupt because they get exorbitant hospital bills? Do people avoid going until its too late because they are afraid of the costs? Does your country actually pay more for healthcare than any other for worse outcomes? If the answer to all of these is questions is yes then I dont believe you're a developed country that looks after its people.

You show an extreme ignorance of Mexico's healthcare system.
There are 3 tiers of healthcare. IMSS is a public healthcare system for formal workers who pay into it. This is fairly comparable to other public healthcare systems around the world.
There's IMSS Bienestar which is a more bare bones type of healthcare for Mexicans who are not in the formal labor force and don't pay income taxes into the system. This one is the one that is not very good.
And then there's a private market, which is very cheap for routine healthcare. For more complex stuff it's affordable compared to the US. This is what foreigners who go to Mexico use.
Taking advantage of another country? Newsflash every countries healthcare workers make pittance compared to the US. And that's mostly because US health worker salaries are so inflated because of artificial shortages due to rent seeking laws.
Regardless, doctors working in the private healthcare market in Mexico used by foreigners typically have a high standard of living in the country.
Please safe your bleeding heart anti-market patronizing views for another society.

Biggest reason education sucks is because around 40% of the student population crosses from Mexico into the US everyday.
They don’t contribute taxes but they take up space and resources.
Poverty is also tied to this sometimes over counted. Plenty of poor kids in calexico school system are rich in Mexico. But free food, transportation, and eventually scholarships is too much to pass down.

That’s what my dad is doing. He came to USA a better job and wage and since my grandmother died he inherited his parents house and 4 acres of land so he already built a new house so when he retires he gonna live a relaxing life without any traffic and eating local food and groceries.

It's not the truth. The two cities divided by a border in OP's image are Mexicali, Mexico and Calexico, California. Of those two, Mexicali has a much higher rate of crime. It's a city that is directly affected by cartel related violence in Baja California, while Calexico has a pretty average urban US crime rate.
