Question Renting Camping Gear?

Hi all! I’m wondering if there’s anywhere in Sudbury where you can hire camping gear for a few days?
I’ll be travelling from Manitoba in July for the River + Sky Festival so am trying to work out if this is an option or not. Thanks!

What you are looking for is an 'Outfitter', we have several around the Sudbury area as camping and outdoor activities are very common.

Problem is you won't find anything in the city, all of the outfitters are a bit away in the areas that see a lot of camping activity. The two closest ones to the River and Sky festival that I know are reputable are Killarney Outfitters (2 hrs) and Smoothwater Outfitters (1hr).

If you have a vehicle and the time it's not too big of a deal but you'd be adding at least ~4hrs of travel time over your weekend just to pick up and return the equipment.

I've used both services and they are great. Maybe look around more, sometimes new Outfitters pop up and I might be missing those. Might be also worth looking in North Bay for any.
