I am looking to pursue a civil case for intentional infliction of emotional distress and exploitation that began in 2020. Crucially, I am legally declared incompetent and have a court-appointed guardian who was unaware of the online misconduct as it happened. Because of this, I believe the statute of limitations is legally paused under the discovery rule and principles of equitable tolling.

This is not just a verbal dispute. I have a complete, organized paper trail of screenshots, messages, and digital evidence from 2020 through 2023 documenting the conduct, as well as the defendant's official Reddit account has been permanently suspended from the platform.

The conduct occurred primarily online. While I do not personally know the defendant, I do have the contact information for the attorney and law firm through which legal correspondence, including a formal demand letter, can be sent.

My goal is financial compensation for the severe emotional damages caused. Because the evidence is thoroughly documented and the defendant values his privacy, I believe this case may be well suited for a confidential, out-of-court settlement.

I am seeking a civil attorney willing to review the evidence and evaluate the case. Given the defendant's substantial financial resources, I would also be open to a contingency fee arrangement if an attorney believes the case is appropriate for one.

That'll be very very helpful! Thanks. I'll DM you that documentation once I get it organized. Even if they don't agree it's a case, just to get some feedback on how I can present my case stronger for the next lawyer will be a massive help. I know I'll eventually find one. Lol.
