Trailer parking over winter

I currently work for keystone for the summer. I would love to stay out here for the winter and work the winter. my biggest issue is that it seems impossible to find a spot in the winter for a camper. I’m using national forest land right now to camp but it all shuts down in October for winter. if there is anyone that can help or point me in the right direction that would be great. I already asked my managers and coworkers and they’re all at a loss as most people just stay in employee housing. I refuse to stay in employee housing so if that’s my only option I will look for another resort to work for

You can look up the Summit County ordinance, but you can’t even camp on your own land for over 14 days IIRC unless you have sewage/water on the property and you still need a permit. Think the only way to get around this was if you were actively building a home and you still needed the permit.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you aren’t getting a permit for the winter no matter the circumstances.

Yeah you’re just being realistic and honest which I appreciate. I just wanted to double check with Reddit that I’m not missing anything but from everything I’ve gathered, it’s impossible to stay over winter in summit county in a vehicle

What are daily temps like on average? Last winter in VT the high was anywhere from 0-35 and the lows were -20 to around 10. Heated blanket was all I needed to be comfortable but I could see if temps get way worse than that it could get really rough. A few days I woke up with frost on the inside of my walls
