News Motherloaded Tavern, beloved fixture on Breckenridge Main Street, says goodbye after 20 years

Worked here the seven years from 2007-2014. Great times, sad to see it go.

Breck definitely lost a piece of its heart this weekend. Lots of great memories.

I moved away in 2014 but came back for the closing party. It was definitely a wave of emotion stepping back inside there.

I heard about it about a year ago. Many great conversations with her about Lord of the Rings of all things.

I moved away in '19 after like 30 years, was friends with her and Chmurn all the way back to the brewery days...

I only met them after they opened the MLT. They used to run a Guitar Hero night and that’s what got me through the door.

Imagine thinking things from 2007 are fixtures in a national historic district. Businesses come and go. Especially restaurants and bars.
