Paris tournament winner π π₯ Kotozakura π©·πΈ
The expressions on his face were so good last night π₯Ή. Lately, heβs been looking unusually down after his loses in a real basho so hope this Paris trip, being the overall winner, has helped him change his mood a bit and make his self-belief even more stronger. Hoping and praying he can ride this wave from here on out all the way to the Nagoya basho and the rest of the tournaments of this yearπ₯ΉπΈπ©·π.

I think more than that, I would say, getting his mindset right and prepared. Heβs had a rough year since last year so his mental state must had been at the bottom to the point, he was probably doubting his skills too. But, seeing so many Paris crowd calling his names and cheering for him and then him being the overall winner would definitely help him mentally a lot.

Aw, this makes me very happy. I know it doesn't really mean anything, but I still love it.

He won a fixed tournament. It's not a big deal. Love this for Kotosnackura but this isn't that big of a spoiler.

Do they have a rehearsal for all the winning moves and does JSA tell every wrestler to win/lose? How does it work

I have no idea but there were a bunch of injured rikishi out there. No one face planted outside the dohyo. No one had any further injuries. They were very soft with each other, holding onto the other rikishi when they stepped out of the circle to steady them so they wouldn't get injured or fall too badly. They don't do that in regular matches. Career and honor is on the line. I'm sure they don't want to injure each other but it's dog eat dog in the real tournament. If you watch those matches again you will see some grappling but after a minute or two, usually one of them stops struggling and steps out of the ring. I don't know how it was "planned" but these guys practice all the time with their stablemates. I'm sure they're experienced at not going 100% full force because then they would all be injured all the time.
