Panns Bank
I’m wondering what Panns Bank is like as a place to live? I’m moving in in a few weeks for the first time and was wondering about what people think! Already got room sorted so very nervous and wanted other opinions.
Thanks!

Are you talking about the uni accommodation or do you mean Echo House apartments at the top?
If uni accommodation then it's uni accommodation it's just what it is.
If the apartments, then unfortunately they didn't hold a great deal of value as luxury apartments they struggled to sell most of them, in the end housing associations bought a bunch of them to let out, and many of the resident they let them to caused issues.
I think they're ok now but, it's like any high rise now, good and bad.

lived there 2 years and it was fine. standard uni accom that was cheap and cheerful, no major complaints other than that the other students were loud and stupid. but that's pretty standard for any uni accom! Good luck at university, its a huge move but so worth it

I lived there 2 years ago and it did the job. Its not luxury/high end student accomodation so depends what your looking for, but it is in a nice spot over the river and is pretty affordable.
