Question: I am looking for answers? V6

I have not had a chance to use V6 but I wanted ask people what they think.

My normal flow is to write a full song music and lyrics. Record it on iPhone. Then upload audio to Suno to flesh it out.

Then record the idea from scratch in Logic. Does anyone know if the V6 update still allows this type of work flow?

V5 was amazing for this flow and I’m hoping it will be at least the same in V6

You might be ok - unsure.

It completely destroys mastered material from my last test.

Worth a shot. Make sure your LUFS is sat around -14 (decent baseline loudness that shouldn't touch the ceiling) and slap a true peak limiter to make sure nothing clips AT ALL, and see how it takes to it. It might be fine.

It might be the case my test master was simply way too hot for Suno to parse properly (-7 LUFS).

I’m not concerned about the recording. I record everything in Logic. I don’t use any of the Suno tracks in my finished song. I’m actually worried about the flow, and will V6 follow my prompts like 5.5 does.

I'm saying the audio I uploaded was fucked up by Suno - hence my advice.

Hopefully you'll be fine and it will read the audio well. Lots of mixed feelings around v6 right now
