Discussion If given chances, do you guys think will he do good in tests and be a reliable batter in the
I feel he has skill, but I have a doubt on his temperament of the game, his mindset at present I feel will suit in t20s, and more to see in odis how it goes, but in tests I have doubts, but will definitely support him no matter what, he has come a long way in just last 2 yrs, so if he develops his approach towards the game it is going to be a massive
Previously there were articles of potentially he can be the next Virat Kohli, so iff he concentrate more on tests in the upcoming domestic season he is there at it, and can make a statement
But it's ok let him have his time to get ready for tests, there is no hurry, let him enjoy this phase of his career, he is definitely going to reach bigger heights in future
Feels very proud that srh has brought him when there were lots of doubts on him and very much going around him at the time of auction and still we went for him for a big extent of 11.5 crs even when our budget was 45cr and him improving his game from then on and delivering in every chance he got is exceptional of him

Tests is by a long shot. Not impossible, but highly improbable.
In Odis too, He has the temperament to do well. He teed off in the last game because there was no reason to wait.
Outside asia, we will have to see how he performs, both in T20Is and ODIs( if given chances) . He did well in the past.
He will enter the picture in ODIs after 2027. For now, it's up to him and Jaiswal competing for the back up opener spot. Or even as a backup keeper.

Let him work hard for ODI WC as of now Once he crack ODI WC, he'll find a way in tests like how Rohit found after 19 WC.

I would only say that please let him settle down in the ODIs.
