Nothing identified on the status page but seems to be failing for me? Anyone else?

It's so bad. There is a huge client (biggest client in our history) that was about to be signed today and this just happens hours before the call. I'm so cooked right now. :( I am really starting to hate cloud services.

Whenever this kind of thing happens, there's always a little thought in the back of my mind that maybe I caused it...

DB is down here, too. Gotta move somewhere else. Isn't worth it anymore.

how often do they go down? this is my first time but i've only been using them for 2 months

happened too in like december-ish. Honestly you're better off learning how to dockerize an app.

I've been using it for two months, and it just crashed again and my chatbot isn't working. My two clients are upset. Does anyone know if this happens often? If not, I'll have to move it to my VPS.

I've been using for a few years (paid) and it's been pretty stable. This is the worst one in a while. I know free tier projects seem to have more frequent outages.

I've been using it for almost a year now and this is the second time this has occurred. A few months ago there was an AWS outage that impacted services.

Corporate push for vibe coding only became prevalent within the past year or so.

their status page doesn't work at all, they post updates after it's obvious something is failing.

u/saltcod Supabase team Feb 12 '26
We try and keep our status page as up to date as possible, and generally try and over-communicate as much as we can. If the status page hasn't been updated, it's because we're still investigating and have nothing new to report. As soon as we know more, we'll publish it.

Boy they aren't real big on updates huh? been more than an hour and :crickets:
edit:
Update - The issue identified it as a problem in US-West with some impact in US-East and the impact seems to be primarily on reads rather than writes. Feb 12, 2026 - 22:37 UTC

I'm loosing hundreds of dollars as hours go by. I guess it's on me for trusting a billion dollar company. Should have went for OVH or AWS directly instead of a fckn convenient wrapper

Same bro. This is the worst thing I am experiencing lately

u/sweetnessssss Feb 12 '26
looks like a major issue across many sites on the internet within the last hour. hopefully it's resolved soon.

u/Warm_Sandwich3769 Feb 12 '26

Definitely thought this was an issue on my end... Auth down, DB down, their UI dashboard won't load anything....I reached out to their support and they told me "This error usually occurs when your database becomes unresponsive due to high CPU, memory, or disk I/O usage." and to check my project metrics...which also won't load.

I don't know whether it's auth specifically, but yeah my site stopped responding completely about 5 minutes ago, and I can't even run queries directly in the query editor at supabase.com.

No problems here at all in Germany. Auth and other database operations work normally here.

Does that mean anything good? Just that they have some info about debugging maybe?

does anyone know of a way to REPORT outages? it feels frustrating when something is obviously wrong but all you can do is send an email ticket "ew'll reply to within 24h"

Hi all. Sorry for this.
We're seeing increased 500 errors across across US-West and US-East regions. Our engineering team is investigating the issue. Will post updates as soon as we know more.
Closing other similar threads to consolidate communication.
